Hi Snowfan 😀 you are correct its not set in stone that Bae came to this world…
But I kind of think if Rumple made the curse, its logical that he would want to be transported to the exact place where Bae was transported to, Since Rumple is all about the fine details I think he would include this in the curse, to be 100% sure he would be able to find him…
Another point: (correct me if Im wrong) but I think Rumple said in the episode when talking to August about the dagger,“..its over Booth, my son would never try to use me, and he would know that this knife would not harness any power in this world, because there is no magic in this world,That is why he chose this place he didnt want me dabbling in it” Gold said something along those lines so this maybe is hinting that Bae is in this world.. BUT..this show tends to surpirse us (which I LOVE)…so it could be possible that Baelfire is in another world without magic or maybe even in another time…
I´m really excited to find out more about Bae!!

OK so no one actually said anywhere that Bae came to our world . . . That leaves A LOT of options open.
Blue: But I can send him someplace where he won’t be able to use his powers.
Bae: Not a jail. I want to be with him, like it used to be.
Blue: Not a jail, young one. Just a place without magic.
Bae: But magic is everywhere.
Blue: In this world, yes. You see, what ails your father is specific to our realm. His powers do not belong here. You must go where you can escape this wretched curse. My initial interpretation was that she meant they’d be sent to a land where Rumple’s particular magic would be void, but not necessarily that the whole land would be magic-less. But taking her words at face value it does seem she said a world without magic.
Now that I’ve had the time to think about it some more, I’m wondering if that portal was to one specific world, or did it have the potential to send the entrants to any of several lands, depending on what that person’s needs were?
So if Rumple had have gone through, the need was for them to be in a land without magic, so they likely would have ended up in our world.
BUT, when Bae fell through alone, did the portal determine a different destination for him, based on his needs, now that he’d lost his parent and had essentially become a Lost Boy?
So I’m not giving up on my Neverland theory just yet. 😉

There may not have been a way for him to research that properly though, especially if Blue Fairy was trying to twart his efforts and keep him from discovering too much info. He may have found our world, the one without magic that he THINKS Bae was sent to, which is why he set the curse up to send them here.

What if after Bae went through the vortex he started to look for a way to find his father just like Rumple started looking for a way to find Bae?
Even though Bae didn’t like magic because of what his father had become, he might look at it differently if he had been separated from him – after all, he made a point about telling the Blue Fairy he didn’t want his father put in jail, he wanted to be with him. And he accepted the Blue Fairy’s magic to escape with Rumple.
He did also go through some kind of vortex or worm hole type of thing to another land, so maybe he learned a way to travel to different places via a hat trying to find his way back to Rumple
At some point he got married and had Grace but as a result of his magic he lost his wife – which reminds him of how he lost his father as a result of Rumple’s magic so he stops using magic. Also, at some point he gets mixed up with the EQ. Remember when she goes to his house she makes some kind of sarcastic comment about how you never turn your back on family or something. Could that actually be a reference to Rumple not following through on their deal?? Maybe the EQ rescued Jefferson from something he had gotten himself into but in exchange he couldn’t be reunited with his father.
Jefferson is so into his little girl which is how I would imagine Bae would be with his child after everything that happened with Rumple. Think about it – Bae lost his mother, his father, and his wife – the only thing he would have left would be Grace, so he would be incredibly protective of her to the point of obsession. Yet he would be sensitive to her feelings, unlike Rumple was to his, which is why he refused to take her away from her SB parents – the only reality she knows, because he knew that would mess her up.
I wonder if Jefferson’s wife was Morraine – I thought she looked a bit like Grace (in fact at first I thought it WAS Grace).
They did cut the scene with August and Jefferson talking in Hat Trick so it could be that they are both working together. It could have been Jefferson who drew the picture of the dagger for August.
April 24, 2012 at 9:37 pm #143778theoniongirlParticipantA sudden thought: When Rumple asked August how he knew abou the dagger, didn’t he say, “A little fairy told me?”
I know some people took that to mean that The Blue Fairy told him. However …
What if it was Tink? 😀 (If Bae is, after all, Peter Pan.) The writers have that way of messing with our expectations.

TheOnionGirl The Tinkerbell theory is the perfect twist, and its so true everyone assumed it was the blue fairy…but it could be a certain green fairy…What I like about the peter pan theory is that in Neverland people don´t age…so it would be very cute if Rump/Bae got reunited and he was still a teen, imagine the Rump/Belle/Bae family <3...they could make up for the "lost" time in Neverland and have a happy ever after...
BUT then again I have a soft spot for tortured good/bad adults…and if Jefferson is Bae, it would be a great opportunity for a lot of amazing scenes filled with angst/anger/sadness/love, with him and Gold….the possible conflict/relationships/plot twists he could bring to the show as an adult would be amazing…And Sebastian Stan is a great actor so I would love to see him add this new dimension to his character…
Its driving me crazy thinking about the Bae…I really like his character and the kid actor was fantastic in “the return” ….I hope we get some answers soon…but i have a feeling it might be until season 2 =(
August 27, 2012 at 11:48 pm #153384tylerParticipantBae has to be Peter Pan. They are bringing in Captain Hook and Neverland in this season. Now rumple has his magic back he will be able to open a portal into Neverland and Hook will enter SB.

I am still hoping that Baelfire is Henrys dad. I’m hoping that Emma has to bring him to town to help her get custody of Henry. I’m still hoping for Rumples happy ending. I guess we know now why he didn’t let Belle keep kissing him and allow his powers to be taken. He wanted this curse to get his son back.
I would so so like Baelfire to be Henry’s Dad!!! that would be AMAZING!
and I am so with you on Rumple’s happy ending! and that he HAD to push Belle away knowing that he needed the power to get Bael back!
So in my opinion, what happens is:
Rumple becomes dark one
Rumple looses Baelfire (p.s. love the name) – blames fairies
Rumple searches for a way to get Rumple back, starts devising curse – he figures, everyone from FTL will be stuck at this one place, and there’s no magic, so he’ll have a way to find Bae, and at the same time agree to his wishes
Belle comes along with her True Love’s Kiss, which rumple refuses as this will forever crumble his hopes of finding Bae without his power
BUT Rumple realises that if true love is the cure, then IF he finds bae, he can use the true love potion (from snow and charming) to rid himself of the curse!!! (please note he thinks his true love – belle – is dead, so that option for him is not there anymore)
Somehow Emma is connected to this… no idea how, but he’s invested in Snow’s future (assuming Emma) who he needs a favour from… so that’s a question we still have to wait to answer…
and i’ve got 1 question… Morraine… will she probably become more significant in the story? hope so… in any case, I love this show xxx i probably wish i didn’t know about it until all the seasons and episodes were out so i can watch it in one go without dying of curiosity :'(
I think I just found the original Swanfire shippers.
