I really loved the song they used in the promos for Once the summer before it started (Rescue Me by Kerrie Roberts) and I am kind of disappointed that it hasn’t been pushed more in the show or in promos/opening credits, etc (I know, I know, there are no opening credits in the show)…

I had read before the show even started that ABC commission her to write the song or sing the song or something, and then they haven’t used it at all, except in this one promo:

    I’ve got a few additions:

White Horse by Taylor Swift – This is so Neal/Emma. I always pictured it as a teenage Emma song, but after we got “Tallahassee” is seems even more so. What’s even more ironic is that this is so perfect, but at the same time she is a fairytale princess and doesn’t know it. So heartbreaking. Just read some of the lyrics.

I had so many dreams about you and me.
    Happy endings, now I know.

    I’m not a princess, this ain’t a fairy tale,
I’m not the one you’ll sweep off her feet, lead her up the stairwell
This ain’t Hollywood, this is a small town,
I was a dreamer before you went and let me down,
Now it’s too late for you and your white horse to come around

We Are Never, Ever Getting Back Together once again a Taylor Swift song – I can see this being Emma’s thoughts about Neal. However, “the lady doth protest too much, methinks.”

Wow, you’d think that 1) I’m a huge Taylor Swift fan, and while I like some of her songs, I don’t really consider myself a fan and 2) That I dislike Neal/Emma. Far, far from the truth. I’m a huge SwanThief/SwanFire fan, but the angst just works right now. I can’t wait for all the anger and emotions and fieworks to come out, because beneath all of it, I think she still loves him. That’s why it hurts so much.

One more to throw out for today,

Dark Side by Kelly Clarkson – Definitely a Rumbelle song.

Keeper of Rumplestiltskin's and Neal's spears and war paint and crystal ball.

This is kind of jokingly but also serious
“Call me maybe” for Emma and August
    “Gangman style” for Rumple
“I dreamed a dream” for Henry and Aurora
    “Jar of Hearts” for Regina
“A thousand years” for Rumple and Bae
“I wont give up”, “Don’t you want me,” for Neal and Emma
“Dont go breaking my heart, ” Huntsman and Regina/ Graham and Emma
“Ho, hey” for the Charming family
“Who let the dog out” for Pongo

Keeper of Swanfire's dream catcher, the Blue Fairy Plot Device, the contact name "Her", the lanyards, the trigger, the Netherworld room and necklace, Charming's quote on Thanksgiving, and PP's pic of Henry
