I don’t think I can post a youtube link to it due to some of the language, but the lyrics and story behind Diamond Head’s Am I Evil fits Regina in a couple of ways, particularly after this latest episode

Here’s a few safe lyrics I’ll post though

    “My mother was a witch…

As I watched my Mother die, I lost my head
    Revenge now I sought…

    Make them pay the price

Am I evil? Yes I am”

The Snow/Charming theme song – The lyrics kind of fit, even going back to season 1 when they didn’t know who they were. Also, you can replace every instance of, “I’ll Reach You” in this song with “I will always find you”

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0C1WvC6-XQ

“Remember when you walked out into the rain
The railroad and the sky were calling your name
    Can you hear them whisper:
“Come and get lost with us”
You’ve been chasing shadows in your hometown
You searched for answers that refused ever to be found
So you compromised and found a new horizon
Ever since you left you’re always on my mind

So here’s to you if you care to listen
Here’s to you, let me cross the distance

    Even if you’re not here
I’ll reach you, I’ll reach you
Even though you’re away, I’m near
    We’ll forgive and forget
    I’ll reach you

Seven years and seven days you’ve been gone
Seven years of changing faith and opinion
    Would you have recognized me
    If you walked beside me?
    I would keep on wating
    It’s been to long

Here’s to you if you care to listen
Here’s to you, let me cross the distance

    Even if you’re not here
I’ll reach you, I’ll reach you
Even though you’re away, I’m near
    We’ll forgive and forget
    I’ll reach you

    Even if you’re not here
I’ll reach you, I’ll reach you
Even though you’re away, I’m near
    We’ll forgive and forget
    I’ll reach you

    I’ll reach you…”

For all the true love pairings- Never Tear us Apart by INXS.

    Just some of the lyrics:

Don’t ask me what you know is true
Don’t have to tell you, I love your precious heart
I, I was standing, you were there
Two worlds collided and they could never tear us apart

All magic comes with a price!

The song “Show me heaven” reminds me of Rumbelle at the moment. I know, Maria McKee has sung it, but I love this presentation from a friend.

“The Queen is Dead” had songs from Wicked running through in my mind- in particular “No Good Deed goes Unpunished!”

And of course, I always make the connection to Into the Woods…

    Witches can be right
    Giants can be good
    You decide what’s right
    You decide what’s good

Well, this song reminds me of a certain moment. “Ice Monster” by minus the bear.

The end of the song goes,

“she’s gone across the border, man
And you’re never gonna see her again!
I could give a **** all what you do to me

Just leave her out of this!”

I think of this literally as the moment when hook shoots belle, she crosses the town line (aka: border), and hook taunts rumple with a “do your worst!”

    Hook – first three lines.
Rumple – final line – in reference to Belle.

Rescue me by Kerrie Roberts, just because it was used in the promo for S1.

Wonderland by Natalia kills for obvious reasons.

For some reason Total Eclipse of the heart by Bonnie Tyler, I saw this vid on Youtube and it was simply perfect, the editing the colouring perfect, and it’s my fave ouat vid!.

I dreamed a dream Les Mis… I think this song encapsulates Regina’s tragic life and existence.

I could think of so many more like poison by Marilyn Manson, Jar of hearts by Christina Perri, A thousand years etc…
