This is hopeless I just hope that if it is neal you guys are not in denial until the episode airs because then that’s gonna just make you explode.
also why does hook being with Henry mean that Neal is alive? To me that’s very suspicious. See Henry is gonna learn to drive in episode 17. Little early don’t you think. What’s the reason the charming a want to teach him? If everybody has had scenes with Henry then where is Neal. Zero scenes with Henry so far and may I just say guys that it makes no sense that Emma hook and Henry would have a scene together but not Neal Emma and Henry. MRj has not been spotted on set in weeks and to me that’s suspicious.
also Lisa I know you won’t listen but I would not take anything that Adam said on Twitter this past week as support or proof. If you have not noticed almost all his past tweets are loaded with sass and trolling. He’s. Pearly had enough of the fandom and will say things that will get them to shut up and leave him alone. So I’m not gonna take anything he says on twitter as proof.
basically there’s no reason that if Neal was alive he would not be a the funeral of his fallen townsfolk u guys implied that it’s a minor death, he would not be missing when they all confront the witch, he would be in at least one of the scenes with Henry in 3×17. Neal’s notgonna be dwindling his thumbs at grannies.
I’ve also mentioned that when a series regular character is killed off they will pay the actor to not audit nor leave Vancouver because that would be a dead giveaway. So not only would meh get his regular salary he would get paid to simply stay where he’s at until after the episode airs to prevent spoilers.
[adrotate group="5"]February 6, 2014 at 2:56 pm #243321RumplesGirlKeymasterCan we please let this topic/thread die (no pun intended)
Everyone has their own interpretation of randomly scattered pics and tweets and how they think the story will play out based on how the story has played out in their heads.
There is no way to know but everyone has already stated what they think is the case. If people want to continue discussing it, then I am really emphasizing putting it in the shipping threads because that is what it has become. (please remember to use your spoiler tags). If you are not a shipper and still want to talk about this, then you can use this thread but it seems like it’s really coming down to ship wars.
Let. This. Go.
At least for now, until there is more to go on. All that we are going to do is argue and bicker and go back forth over validity of sources and each others headcanon.

There is such a thing as damage control, and they could intentionally be tweeting certain things to lead off suspicion from any particular actor. I would say for now just keep a further eye for who’s definitely spotted filming for the next few weeks, and we may get a better idea. If Colin is still spotted on set after “The Jolly Roger” (which many “Hook will die” believers think could be his final episode) has been filmed, or MRJ has still not been spotted filming again, then I will see more of a reason to suspect something.

i think ink the death is gonna take place in episode 15, honestly or early 16. I don’t expect the death will take place near the end of the season.
February 6, 2014 at 3:12 pm #243325JosephineParticipantBy this time we all have in our head who we feel is going to die. No more amount of talking is going to convince someone else to change their mind. You’ll rationalize why X isn’t on set or why Y can’t be killed off. All of us just have to realize that someone is gone and for many of us it will be a favorite character. It happens. Will the show be what we want from here on out? Nope, but things change. Shows change directions. There are many shows that I adored in the first season or two then grew to dislike as it aged. Other shows just got better with age.
As for myself, I have it in my head who is going to die. Do I like the direction Once is taking? Not really, but I will continue because I do like other storylines and I’m curious what is going to happen. And I’ve grown to love my obsessive friends in chat. So I’m going to step back from the spoilers. If I see something in chat, it won’t bother me, but I’m not going to be hunting them out. The Olympics is starting tonight, and after it ‘s done there are only a few weeks left until the show starts. So I will concentrate on mocking Curling and not agonize over this spoiler of doom.

February 6, 2014 at 3:18 pm #243327MatthewPaulModeratorTo put all of this into perspective, EW has a 29 Most Shocking TV Deaths article that I recommend reading. Warning, this article DOES spoil major deaths that have occurred on other TV shows. I do still think its a good read, as it can give us a better understanding for how these decisions have been made in the past:
February 6, 2014 at 3:56 pm #243337kfchimeraParticipantHow about we let people worry about themselves whether they want false hope or false fear, or reasonable certainty and to adjust expectations? I can tell you my attitude is, that I’d rather expect the worse and be pleasantly surprised but for others, they’d rather get upset about something when it happens and not waste energy on it until they’ve no choice. At the same time, I am a bit reluctant to just take at face value “reports” given the particular atmosphere in which we’ve had it happen before that Neal was in a scene but no one knew until we saw it on screen.
Speculation tends to be tinged by what people want to happen. It is true, we are going to go round, but it isn’t fair to those who feel it helps to discuss to shut down ALL discussion everywhere. We can all agree to keep it out of chat. Some will say–then just do it in ship threads but I think some people don’t want that discussed there either. What if I want to bring up an idea about why it might be Regina or Belle for example, in the middle of a SF thread, that is really not a good place to get into it as it might be distressing for those who didn’t want to talk about the death at all, just wanted to talk about the ship itself. In general its probably true that most people on the CS thread “don’t mind” if it is Neal and the SF thread “don’t mind” if it is Hook, but even then there are people on both who find it distressing either way. We’re all different in how we feel and how much emotion we bring to our experiences as fans.
If people want to discuss the death, then they need to be prepared that there will be speculation for characters they adore, and they can leave the thread and ignore it exists if they wish to do so. Yet that is an imposition on RG and MP who must moderate, so if it is the will of the forums then so be it, but I’d rather have people discussing it here than in chat, especially the spoiler who is filming thread.

February 6, 2014 at 8:19 pm #243430CindersParticipantTONS OF CLUES in the lightning round answers. Anytime they say maybe next year.
February 6, 2014 at 8:26 pm #243435awoovoParticipantSo by that logic Cinders Hook and Belle are safe since they said we would get more BG on them.
February 6, 2014 at 9:01 pm #243444CindersParticipantPossibly, as well as Emma. It’s just a guess. Reading between the lines.
On the other hand, sometimes background stories can be told through other characters’ dialogue.
