They talked about Belle in that they had plenty of plans for her thus her character would be growing. So yes, I consider that growth of a character and their statements being somewhat confirmations that she isn’t leaving the show anytime soon.
Oh that, their usual talk. Thanks!
Since Gold is apparently really dead and there can’t be Rumbelle anymore, I wonder what exactly they intend to do with her in the future.

Let’s not forget that both Pino/August was dead TWICE and brought back to life by being brave, selfless & true. I’ll never give up on Rumbelle.

It was Adam who said the big thing: “Adam: We sure hope so—he’s not going anywhere.”

Must have read it wrong thanks Phee 🙂

Pinocchio was made of wood and turned into a little boy, that same thing can’t happen with Gold.
I’m just deathly afraid they’re going to zombifie him and then try to find some way to allow Rumbelle to happen, which would be really hideous for Belle……..and completely undignified for a man who doesn’t deserve this. It’s really amazing how Gold sacrifices his life and he doesn’t get any rest or peace, but continues to be punished.

I think the writers know better than to cast Robert Carlyle, being the brilliant actor he is, as a mere brainless zombie. While he may be under the control of the WWW for a time, I think Belle will find a way to save him. Have hope. 🙂

I was being facetious, lol, I know they’re not going to turn him into a zombie. I hope you’re right!
February 10, 2014 at 2:46 pm #244167sharonParticipantI’m sticking to my theory that the term “regular cast member” is being used loosely and the list of the 8 core characters is pure conjecture on the part of the media.
However, if I were to entertain the idea that it is one of the 8 characters, it’s going to be Belle or Neal. They keep talking about Wicked versus Evil… so maybe part of WWW’s plan is to put Rumple in a position where he has to choose Belle’s life OR Neal’s life, but he can’t save both. Who would Rumple choose? His son or his true love? My guess is he saves his son, and Belle dies.

All magic comes with a price!

Sure it can. Wood or flesh, dead is dead and they brought Pino back twice. They said they are bringing someone back from the dead. We know it’s not Greg from the interview. Has to be Rumple.
