I hope the fact that Emilie didn’t tweet (and she was on Twitter today) about Skin Deep anniversary isn’t a sign that Belle is the one who gets killed; she’s normally so good about things with Rumbelle because she loves them so much
[adrotate group="5"]February 13, 2014 at 3:51 am #244751Sarah_TNParticipantMy theory is still that there are 2 deaths, and that one will die to bring back someone else. I think Neal will die, but that toward season’s end, he is resurrected at the cost of Hook’s life, meaning that ultimately, it is Hook who dies.

February 13, 2014 at 3:59 am #244752WickedRegalParticipantI have been thinking about the words used in the tvline article, now that can just be for dramatic effect. But the use of the term “happy ending” If/when Regina meets Robin Hood, she will have a chance at a happy ending. And in the first episode this season she asked Hook if he believed what Greg Mendel said about villains and how they don’t get a happy ending. I think Regina is the one who dies, because “villains don’t get happy endings”. I love the journey she has been on trying to be less evil, less selfish and to be a better and more loving mother. In my eyes it would be just heartbreaking if she would lose her life after getting her happy ending.
Fear not…the Queen lives on as Lana was in the studio, and on set…

But as far as the death goes…Regina, Snow, Emma, Rumple are the only ones completely safe from death to me….David did have one too many close calls with death…Belle, I don’t know but if WWW truly is controlling Rumple…forcing him to kill his true love is on the list, but I really hope that’s not the case as I love Rumbelle! Hook and Neal both stand an equal chance at death for reasons I need not name as we all know them…

I honestly don’t think that’s going to happen, though – WW has no reason to do that as far as we know. If either Belle or Bae die,. I think it will be heroically.
February 13, 2014 at 5:33 pm #244833PriceofMagicParticipantI don’t think Belle or Neal will die at all. What would be quite an epic moment though is if the WW, whilst controlling Rumple, does try to make him kill either Belle or Bae but the strength of his love for them is enough to overcome the WW’s control and frees him. Afterall the Disney’s Beast curse was to teach him how to love and Rumple is “full of love”.

It would be lovely to see Belle save him, but since love IS the most powerful magic of all, how great would it be for my baby, full of love, to defeat the evil forces that would possess him?
I’m sure Belle is not going to die given the TV Guide lightning round responses from last week (and I didn’t think she would anyway, gut feeling, even though IMO she’s 1 of only 3 who could die). Neal and Hook are the only other ones -and let’s just say that I don’t think it’s Hook.
February 15, 2014 at 1:54 am #245128TheGoldenKeyParticipantNo one, other than Rumple, is safe despite the interviews. We all know how they can twist things to get our motors running. Until it’s cemented in stone, they are all equally at risk, excluding Rumple of course.

February 17, 2014 at 2:45 am #245469betsypaige24ParticipantI think it’s very possible MRJ has been filming in studio……..and that we truly have no idea who is dying. It could still be Belle or Hook..
This makes SO much sense……I saw it on Tumblr from an ANON:
Fun fact: A&E wrote two out of three real deaths (Graham and Pan) themselves. Jane Espenson wrote the other. They said in the interview that the death was emotional for THEM to write. They’re writing ep 19. Doesn’t it seem more likely that’s where a real death would occur, rather than in ep 15, written by the weakest person on staff (Kalinda Vasquez) in her very first solo script? (And if it’s Neal it would have to be in 15, because “his” funeral is in 16.)

I appreciate any feedback 🙂

February 27, 2014 at 7:34 pm #248514betsypaige24ParticipantThe issue I have with Neal dying is that I find it hard to believe he’s reached the end of his story/journey (which is what Adam said in a recent interview). If anyone really has, based on that, it’s Belle (and this is from someone who adores her, who adores Emilie and worships Rumbelle). I’m not even sure what story she has aside from fighting to be with Gold – she really doesn’t. Whatever story she had has been left in the dust (we’re never going to see the ramifications of her imprisonment for 30 years and it’s pretty clear she won’t get a chance to confront Regina and Hook)., frankly. I’ve always been more than fine for her to primarily be attached to Gold, but certainly I’ve wanted story for her of her own. Let’s assume, dangerously, that Rumbelle reunites next year. If the Dark Curse is broken, perhaps they might finally explore Rumbelle as a couple – but still it’s not Belle’s story, it’s theirs and Gold’s. If it’s not, or even if it is, and it’s Neal who dies, the likelihood is that A/E won’t allow them to face this together; despite Gold leaning on Belle and doing reasonably well at the end of S2 finale before going off to NL, most likely A/E would have him push Belle away. So really what I’m saying is that Belle has no real story of her own and she honestly SHOULD be the one to die if it’s only about a character coming to the end of his/her arc.
Now in real life, people die all the time before they’ve had a chance to really live or fulfill their dreams and promise, so killing Neal in the prime of his life would be a realistic thing………it’s just not great story.
Oh – and Emilie has barely been seen also, so she could be the one
** I don’t really think Belle will die, mostly because (a) Disney wouldn’t allow it, (b) they’d lose huge chunks of fans and (c) Em has been in Vancouver during most of this time and did film (albeit in FTL) recently. It’s very possible she’s been filming in studio with Bobby – and keep in mind that until recently, most of the cast has been filming in studio -
