Well, I think his prooves it’s not Neal! http://instagram.com/p/la7yinJSFM/#
I am just going to point this. I am not saying anything about the death.
All three of them are wearing their FTL clothing. It is very possible that Gabe took this while filming 312 and is just now uploading it, now that the episode has aired. Before Sunday it would have been considered a spoiler and Gabe probably didn’t want to get into trouble.Doesn’t look like Hook’s wearing the red vest though, which he was in the 312 FTL stuff. Now, if we’re gonna assume that they’ll keep him in the red vest for all FTL flashbacks of the missing year, (which would be a sensible move, to distinguish him visually a bit from the present day stuff), then this pic can’t be from any of that missing year stuff. But then why is the Dwarf a Dwarf and why does Neal appear to be in his FTL gear if this isn’t a missing year flashback?

March 12, 2014 at 12:18 am #252300PheeParticipantHow is it from 312 when Hook’s not wearing the red vest? The only scenes he shot with other people in FTL costume, he was wearing the red vest, which he’s not in this pic.
March 15, 2014 at 3:48 pm #253120MatthewPaulModeratorI felt this needed to be said. Not pinpointing the death to any specific person, but I really do feel like none of us should be putting all of our eggs in one basket. While we all have our own reasons for thinking somebody is safe or why we don’t think their death would make sense, at the same time having TOO much hope could backfire big time. Not saying to stop having hope, but we should always consider that possibility that we could be dead wrong (pardon the pun). It’s one thing to constantly not wish death on our favorite characters, but to constantly feel 100% convinced they are safe may not be the best way to go about it. Just saying, everyone should prepare themselves for any outcome, because having 100% hope up until it happens could make it even more painful once it does happen.

I agree. Have hope (it’s what this show is about right?) but also prepare yourself for any outcome.
The only thing I want to add is just a reminder because I don’t think we’ll have this problem *here* but y’know….getting ahead of anything potential.
When it happens and to whomever it happens, remember that people are going to be upset–whether they saw it coming or not. People you talk to on a daily basis, people you might even consider friends are going to be sad, hurt, frustrated, angry and disappointed. Sympathy instead of gloating or rejoicing, yeah?

Absolutely, nor should any of us quickly place the blame on any specific part of the fandom. It’s understandable for people to be upset, but I don’t want to see them lashing out their frustration and hate on other people. The way I see it, the appropriate action would be to either come to acceptance for the show going that route or if it’s too much to handle then simply consider dropping the show. This was a decision that Adam and Eddy carefully had to consider, and it is out of our control. Let’s be well mannered adults about this when the time comes.

Actually, I’ve been wondering lately if they really will pull a fast one. The title of the penultimate episode, “Snow Drifts,” made me worry about Snow. But after consideration, I truly wonder if Charming might not be in more danger.
Maybe Snow is in grave danger. (Frankly, I think the WW wants a child and is going to go after her and the baby.) I could see Charming going out in a heroic act to save Snow, the baby, his daughter Emma, his grandson and/or even his daughter’s true love, Neal. (Especially since we’ve been seeing in spoilers for the next episode that the WW just might have something against Charming as well. And maybe even Neal.) It would give Snow a hell of a storyline next season. And it would give Emma a further reason to acknowledge that sometimes you need to step up and say “I love you” to the person you care about, especially when you never know how much time you will have with that person. Heart-wrenching, oh yes. But a death that MEANS something.
And I think that Charming, if he knew it was going to save his family, would consider his happily ever after well spent.

-- Dylan ThomasMarch 20, 2014 at 1:38 pm #254393sharonParticipantNeal is my favorite character- so it’s been my hope that this “spoiler” has been using the term “regular character” loosely and the death is Ruby or something like that.
but if not… Then I’m nervous it’s Neal. The curse that brought them back to Storybrook requires a heart… And Zelena has Rumple’s dagger. What if she used the dagger to make Rumple cast the curse. Who’s heart would Rumple need to cast the curse? Neal or Belle. We’ve seen Belle… We haven’t seen Neal. 🙁
March 20, 2014 at 1:48 pm #254399CrownedWithLaurelsParticipantWell, since running theory is that part of Zelena’s jealousy is that she’s upset Rumple chose Regina to cast the curse and not her, it is very likely that she casts the curse. And, we don’t know what is required for this curse to be cast. Could be different than the one Regina had.
Also, because of set pics, we know MRJ has filmed in what looks like Zelena’s SB homestead, and even the door picture spoiler recently. The new TVLine spoiler: “Patience, dearie. Within the next few episodes, the mystery of what’s been going on with Neal in Storybrooke will be answered.” makes it seem like Neal is in SB. All of those spoilers make it seem as if we will see Neal in SB. If he was used for the curse, he wouldn’t have lived to make it to SB.It would definitely be a heartbreaking theory, but I think what we have so far is contradictory to Rumple casting the curse and using Neal.
