I read a fan theory on Tumblr which speculated about who could have drawn the portrait of Henry we saw in2x22. According to the DVD commentary for “And Straight On ‘Til Morning,” Milha drew the self-portrait of herself that Hook had and she drew the portrait of Baelfire back in “The Crocodile.” But who drew the picture of Henry? Could it possibly have been Milah?!

At the moment, I’m thinking that if a Seer told PP about the prophecy, he demanded that they draw a picture of the boy for him.

So I’m thinking maybe the little girl was captured or collected by Peter and she told him all about Rumple and Henry and all that could happen. He decides to use her to plant the seeds into Rumple that sent into motion his plan. He returns her to the Enchanted Forest and she suddenly shows up exactly where Rumple is a soldier and just happens to tell him about his future…she was planted there for a purpose! Fifteen or so years later after Bae disappeared the seer shows up once again at Rumple’s beckoning and manipulates Rumple into taking her “sight” because she’s tired of it and wants peace. That character is going to show up once again in some form of flashbacks.
All this even further in my head goes back that Peter is so interested in Rumplestiltskin clan because Henry is important in some way and Rumple is Peter’s younger brother. I’m holding onto that headcanon till I’m proved wrong. 😛

August 20, 2013 at 8:23 am #205830RumplesGirlKeymasterI keep going back and forth about who drew it: PP or the Seer. It depends on if PP has the gift of sight himself. It’s interesting that PP’s Shadow kept taking boys, even though they knew they needed Henry. T-word wise, it might make sense. The Seer, if she was from NL, left NL 14 years before Bae was born. If the Seer was the one telling PP all her visions about Henry and then *left* PP with just a drawing and no instructions about where or when Henry would be born, that might explain why PP kept taking random boys.

A copy of his son, of his lost wife and of the kid that will be his end, cause he has the ability to see in the future. I would want to know who will be my undoing if I see the future. It could be that Rumple wanted to find the boy sooner, so he didn’t have to inact the curse. If he founds the boy, the boy leads him to his son and then he could kill him. Henry can be used for another prophecy that was for Pan as well, so Rumple and Pan team up together to find this boy and kill him. The prophecy was only for Rumple, but that could be that it is only a part of the Prophecy for Henry. Like: “The boy, whos parents are from a magical land, who was raised by the worst enemy of their family will be the undoing of the Dark Magicians after he breaks the Dark Curse and reunite his family.”

August 20, 2013 at 9:07 am #205835SlurpeezParticipantMilha has been established as the artist who drew the picture of Bae and of herself. That was confirmed in the “And Straight on ‘Til Morning” DVD commentary. So, neither Rumple nor anyone else could have drawn the second two portraits. What is still open for question/debate is the identity of the artist who drew the picture of Henry. So far we have:
– Peter Pan
– The seer
– Dr. Whale.
The reason I’m pretty sure the artist can’t be Dr. Whale is because the picture of Henry has been around for centuries whereas Dr. Whale was no more than age 40 when the curse hit. As for Peter Pan or the Seer, I think either one is a viable candidate for being the artist who drew the picture of Henry. We know the seer can see the future and we don’t yet know if Peter has the give of foresight. Some other possible candidates who fit the bill are a random Lost Boy, Tinkerbell or the Blue Fairy. From what we know, fairies live a long time since Blue is at least as old as Rumplestiltskin, if not older.

August 20, 2013 at 9:16 am #205837RumplesGirlKeymasterI think the one issues standing in the way of the fairies is that they’ve never been shown to have prophetic abilities. If we discount Sneaky Fairy is Sneaky for a moment, Blue never saw the Curse coming, never saw Regina or Rumple or what they were doing, so I don’t know if fairies have seeing abilities. For that matter we don’t know that Peter does either, but as we haven’t met him yet we can’t rule it out.

I agree that fairies have yet to be established as being clairvoyant. Yet, we don’t really know what goes on inside Sneaky Fairy’s mastermind (if she is indeed sneaky). She might well have seen the Dark Curse coming, since she’s the one who basically confirmed to Rumple that a curse is how he’d get to his son (see Rumple and Blue’s conversation in “The Return”). The BF might have simply failed to tell the Charmings about the curse, since she wanted this to happen for some reason. Sneaky Fairy might be “gifted” with foresight, and she may have even “blessed” that little girl to be a seer to nudge Rumple in a certain direction. And we haven’t even met Tinkerbell yet. She might be the one who reveals the future to Peter Pan.
