So we just experienced the death of Cora, does anyone think someone else may die this season too? I think someone may die in the season finale, or close to the finale. If someone does die, who do you think it’s gonna be and how do you think it’s gonna happen?
[adrotate group="5"]March 12, 2013 at 5:26 am #179290pekadotParticipantHmmm, I hope not. There’s no one I’d really like to see die out of the characters we know right now. Maybe some insignificant person or backstory character will die. Haha.

There’s been enough death this season. I don’t want to see anybody else die on this show. Not for a while anyway.
March 12, 2013 at 12:13 pm #179323KebParticipantI’d prefer nobody else does…but while Cora already beat out Hook for the award, I think there is a short list of people in imminent danger after what just happened. I doubt any/many of them will actually perish, but…
Gold — Hook still wants him dead, though as long as he’s in Storybrooke now he’s probably immortal save for the dagger killing him. Also, Regina may still yet blame him for her mother’s death.
Henry — Still prophecied to be Gold’s undoing. And while even Gold probably wants to protect the kid (Cora was likely the only real threat to him, barring Gold getting really scared again), he’s gotten caught in the crossfire between his parents before. Turnover anyone?
Snow — Yeah, Regina hated you and wanted you dead before. Times ten million now after that manipulation and betrayal.
Regina — David would kill Regina to protect his family (He pretty much did as Charming, but Snow negated it, and he only protected her from the town because Emma and Henry wanted her to live). Emma might. Gold only didn’t kill Regina because Belle made him promise not to, though I think that witnessing Cora’s death might actually soften Gold towards Regina a bit. Still, if she threatened Belle or Bae, he wouldn’t hesitate.
Hook — Emma did say dead MAN of the year award, and Gold’s got little reason to spare him at this point. Emma will protect him as she has been doing, but if Hook doesn’t make peace with Gold somehow, I think his life expectancy is still low. As with anyone, threatening Belle, Bae, or Henry would be fatal moves, but he’s crazy enough he might do it depending on his angle. Regina might also give him a share of blame in Cora’s death because if he hadn’t wounded Gold, her mother could simply have used the dagger to control him as she believed was the original plan (don’t trust Cora for an instant).
Bae — Regina and Hook both could see him as a way to hurt Gold. Also, we don’t yet know what the history between him and Hook actually is, but Bae did not look as if it were friendly when he recognized Hook. Also, Emma still has some unresolved anger towards him, and she’s learning magic that’s based on emotion. I don’t think she would intentionally hurt him with her magic, cuz she clearly still loves him on some level, but an accident during an argument? It’s a remote possibility.
I am overthinking this show entirely too much.

We’re Oncers, that’s how we roll. 😆
Regarding Hook and his dead man of the year label because he and Rumple are out for each other’s blood, it’s obviously gonna take something major for either or both of them to give up on his vendetta. This is one of the reasons I hope Nealfire(Pan?) and Hook were on friendly terms in Neverland. If he’s stuck in the middle of Hook and Rumple, and if they both care for him, he can tell them to get the eff over themselves and move on, if not for their own sakes, then for his. It would resolve the vengeance storyline so we can move on to something new, without anyone having to die.
I think we may see Henry’s life threatened before the end of the season, but I hope no one else dies.

That would be great to see Neal be used in helping Hook do something else besides trying to get revenge on Rumple all the time, but I don’t think it will be that easy. He’ll definitely tell Neal what Rumple did to Milah, and I also think that now that Cora is out of the way, he’ll be the one to go after Henry, so it forces the Charmings/Rumple family/Regina to work together at least temporarily since we never really got that when Cora was a threat.
As for who is dying, I think that the main group of regulars, (the Charming Family, Rumple, Regina, and Belle to an extent) are safe because their story lines are far from finished. I am worried about the following people though: (warning spoilers ahead!)
1. Red – I don't know if they'll go so far to kill her off, but since it looks likely that Megan won't be on the show next season, they might go this route, or just have her disappear without ever mentioning her again like Kathryn, Ella, Sydney, etc.
2. Geppetto – I think that he'll just disappear when they transform August back into a real boy and maybe pop up a few times like he did this season. However, they might kill him off because then Archie would be in danger assuming that Archie is safe as long as Geppetto is alive.
3. Archie – He doesn't really have a whole lot to do, and while Regina could definitely use someone to talk to, I'm not sure if they'll ever have her going to counseling especially from Archie again since that's what lead to Cora being able to get close to her again.
4. Neal – I think he's pretty safe, but there's always a chance that they could pull a Stableboy and have Rumple revert to being evil again because of Neal's death. I can't see it though since they can potentially use him as a way to introduce other lands once they start to explore his past.
5. Hook – They didn't really get to utilize him that much especially after he broke his leg, and now with Neverland coming up, I doubt they'll kill him off well at least this season. However, if Robin Hood becomes another Mad Hatter fan favorite or they have plans to introduce someone like Dracula, then I would be worried that they were going to find another piece of eye candy to replace Hook sometime next season.
March 12, 2013 at 1:31 pm #179333RumplesGirlKeymasterI think there will be one more death because we know they have to get to Neverland somehow and it's probably going to require a hefty bit of magic. And in the words of my Rumple, all magic comes with a price. I wouldn't be surprised if that price was the life of another cast memeber
I predict Archie. I think they’ve told his story, Pinocchio/Gepetto’s story and apart from appearing in flashbacks to be the voice of reason and the conscience, he doesn’t have a whole lot to do. I doubt Regina will go back and see him and with the heroes traveling to Neverland I doubt Henry is going to be having therapy time as well.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 12, 2013 at 1:40 pm #179340DemiletoParticipantI’m half expecting Rumple to pay a big price for his questionable actions and manipulations by the end of the season. He’s always getting away completely unscathed from them, even when I expected him not to, like last episode (I was banking on him losing his dark powers). It feels almost like the producers are waiting for the right moment for this, like how Henry put Emma on a pedestral that Regina could never live up to no matter how much she tried, only to crush it when the time came to reveal that Emma lied to him about his father.
And not just any price. I think it’ll be a major betrayal coming from the one person capable of causing him the greatest heartbreak: Baelfire. From what I’ve seen so far, the show seems to be laying the groundwork for Rumple and Bae to rebuild their relationship, this can only mean they’re planning to crush it just as it comes close to be mended. Milah’s death, the threat over Henry, reasons for Bae to turn against Rumple are plenty. The dagger would never be used to kill Rumple because the killer becomes the new Dark One and we’ve already had a storyline where the wrong hands got a hold of it, so Rumple will probably hid it again well enough. Bae might not need the dagger, though, if he happens to come across the medallion of doom that’s lost somewhere in FTL. Having his soul be marked for damnation by his own son would definitely crush Rumple, give him a fate as ironic as Cora’s and close the season on a ‘full circle’ note. The season did, after all, start with Rumple summoning the wraith.
Rumple wouldn’t remain soulless for long. They aren’t giving the storyline of rescuing Philip’s sould to secondary characters Mulan and Aurora for no reason.
Of course, a theory as detailed as this probably mean I’m wrong! 😆
March 12, 2013 at 1:43 pm #179341MatthewPaulModeratorThe medallion is actually still in FTL. The Wraith took it with him.

I know that and I stated it in the post. Doesn’t mean it won’t reach their hands by the end of the season. 🙂
