While I think this is a very interesting theory, one major thing doesn’t make much sense. Dracula was a vampire, and was therefore immortal. We know that Victor’s brother was dead, because he needed a magical heart to bring him back to life. Dracula, a powerful vampire, wouldn’t need to be brought back to life as Frankenstein’s monster, because a vampire can live eternally as an “undead” creature. Dracula wouldn’t be a corpse in need of an electric jolt and a magical heart.

    That’s a fair point.

PS. EGAD that resemblance is uncanny! 😮

It really is! A friend sent it to me this morning.

Re: his brother. I’ve posted before that possibly Whale’s world is Transylvania. Dracula was known as the Prince of Darkness. In many movies, that featured Dracula, Frankenstein & the Wolfman, Dracula always controlled Frankie. As well, maybe that’s where werewolves originated from and they made their way to the Enchanted Forest. Werewolves were quite often depicted as Gypsies that traveled throughout European countries. Maybe Victor’s brother was a werewolf (personally, I don’t think so).

Keeper of Pandora's Box & The Yellow Brick Road.

I know it’s impossible, but i kind of wish they would go with the younger brother from the book. William (was that it?) was younger and i kind of want to see Henry with a new friend. I could totally see him being the only kid at school who doesn’t care that willy had stitches everywhere…

If Whales world is going to have Franky, werewolves, and vamps.. which are usually associated with Halloween. It could be Halloweentown. A world with all the horror movie type characters. Since they like the disney movie stuff, I saw someone said it looked like a Tim Burton type world.

Thats what I was thinking. But maybe those characters will be actual people not a skeleton, or rag doll but these people have their names.
Jack Skeleton is the king of Halloweentown so maybe he is the king/prince of Franky’s world hence the you are not my prince. But that could just be because he wasn’t from that world:/
