Was due to start my re-watch of S2 tonight anyway, so this spoiler was well timed.
If it’s during events of Broken, it’s gotta be either between leaving Gold’s, (the “punch you in the face” scene) and going back to the Sheriff’s station, (where they interrupt Regina getting her soul sucked), or between the Sheriff’s station and going to Regina’s office (to get the hat). Technically, from what we see, Emma’s never alone during those times to be chasing someone down, but I guess they could still write it in that she took a detour on her own in there somewhere. Those are the only times when it’s dark out and Emma’s dressed to match the BTS pics.

Ok, so if I understand what happened while I was asleep: JMo is not on set but her double is, probably for long distance shots in order to establish where in “Broken” we are when the main events for the Knave are happening.

I’ve never seen Emma wear her hair up before except for in the Tallahassee flashback to 17-year-old Emma, and that was just a humble ponytail. But J-Mo’s stunt double looks like she had her hair professionally done up for the Oscars. Why? To me, her hairstyle looks more like Mrs. Darling’s hairstyle from 2×21, and would be better suited to someone like Alice, who comes from Victorian England, too.

Yea, I was wondering about the hair as well. It wasn’t anything like that in Broken. Although I guess if we’re just seeing her from a distance for a couple of seconds as she drives by, we probably won’t see her hair properly.
Perhaps she is Sophie Lowe’s stunt double rather than J Mo’s? I know that sounds odd, given the jacket, but Sophie Lowe is about the same size and coloring as J-Mo. Perhaps Alice raided Emma’s closet so as to “blend in” with the people of modern-day America. (I’m only half-serious).

I’m pretty sure it’s the coat that she was stuck in for almost half the season…
