I was thinking that he may be going along with whatever the witch is saying trying to get close to her and make her believe that she is controlling him.

I was thinking about something similar, (typed up a whole post on it yesterday but ended up going around in so many circles with “what ifs” that it got ridiculous and headache inducing so I never posted it), but was thinking along the lines of what if he did actually lose his magic when he stabbed himself, and is just pretending that the dagger has an effect on him, so he was able to use her to hitch a ride back to where Belle and Neal are.

Anyway, the glitch I ended up stuck on is if she’s actually tried to use his magic, as in, commanded him to do something magical, he wouldn’t be able to do it and would be busted. But then again, perhaps she hasn’t made any demands for him to use his magic, in which case that wouldn’t be an issue and the theory that he’s faking could totally work. We dunno how long she’s had the dagger for, it might not have been that long, so if he’s keeping up an act, he wouldn’t have had to keep it up for long. But if she’s ever asked him to prove himself and his powers, then the theory wouldn’t work. But if she knew about him being the Dark One back in the day, then she probably wouldn’t have asked him to prove himself, she’d had just assumed he still has his powers.

Here comes that headache again. LOL

ETA: One of the things that got me wondering if he even has magic or not was the clothes. If he’s got magic, wouldn’t he *poof* himself some decent clothes instead of the dirty old ones? Even if she’s got the dagger and is controlling him, is that something she’d be able to prevent him from doing? Or have they just gone with the dirty clothes for the visual impact of, “he’s been lost for a whole year” and I’m just overthinking it?

I thought it might be a maple leaf too.  He seems like he’s in frame with Regina there, but maybe it was BTS.  I was just wondering though, if he IS in frame, and it IS a maple leaf, was he in say, Canada?  Could he be someone who met Neal when Neal was in Vancouver?

I like the idea of a heart too, if its referencing the idea he’s the Tin Man from Oz–but we don’t even know he’s in Frame.

Wow, so many great pictures and Rumple is back:) Although, I do not like the idea of WWW having the dagger. However, even if Rumple is being controlled–he is smart and he is able to see the future—I think he must be able to do somethings independently–similar to how Zoso was able to coerce Rumple into becoming the Dark One for him so I have faith Rumple will work something out. I love the idea of Bae and RH  saving him.

I agree with everyone who thinks that Chris Gorham is the Wizard of Oz. Can’t wait for the showdown between WWW and Regina! WickedSisters is looking more likely by the minute.

Now that WickedSisters is basically confirmed, I’m against Gorham being the Wizard of Oz because Cora’s daughter would have to be by Oz. I refuse to believe they are going to give Rumple another child, especially if the spoiler that shall not be named turns out to be Neal. If they kill Neal and then give Rumple a daughter by Cora, I’m going to *livid*

If they did that, it would be quite soap-operatic wouldn’t it?  I think Gorham could be the Wizard and Wicked’s father or some weird thing like that but not really loving the speculation of it as much as who Pan was.

If Adam kills Neal and gives Rumple another child especially a daughter I’m going to be beyond angry. Especially if this fan pressure & network related so that they can keep Hook. Adam and ABC will get an earful from me and countless other fans and I will be done with Once.
