According to @Katman on Twitter, Gorham was on set but NOT FILMING. So now I’m confused.
Katmtan wrote on Tumblr that while Chris Gorham was on set, he was not actually in the scene being shot on Thursday night. She suggested Chris might have instead been filming with Jennifer Morrison and MRJ on Friday night. Chris reportedly left Vancouver on Saturday.
I know that Kat doesn’t typically lead us in the wrong direction, but I just can’t help but be suspicious in this instance, purely because we have the photos. Not only does he seem to be standing really close to the filming, but the pics that seem to have been taken between takes, in a couple of them, he’s actually right up in the middle of the group that’s mingling around. Typically, the director might come in to give pointers to the actors, and other crew might come up to adjust stuff before the next take, but would Gorham really stroll up right into the middle of the group of actors in the scene if he was just hanging out? That’s not exactly professional for him to stroll up to socialise between takes when they’re working, is it? If he’s in the scene and wants to hear what’s being said about it between takes, to know if he’s gotta do something different himself, then the mingling would make sense. It just seems strange. Also, maybe it’s just me, but I wouldn’t have been out there that night unless I HAD to be, because all reports suggest that it was EFFING FREEZING and they worked well past midnight. Why would anyone CHOOSE to be there just for the helluvit when they could be tucked up nice and warm in bed instead?

I remember Rumple’s name almost disappeared from the dagger in 2×16 when he nearly died. But I didn’t see his name disappear when he stabbed himself and Malcolm in 3×11.. It’s happened so fast. Did anyone else catch it? Here is the clip again from 3×11 of Rumple’s self-sacrifice:

yeah it would make most sense if his name did disappear, so how would the WW get it back on the dagger? does he still have his name or is he now just “the dark one?”

Maybe he’s in the scene but in the last little bit, so only needed for a few mins of filming?
If he was with MRJ (at the well maybe) and then came over to the SB street at the very climax of the fight, he wouldn’t be needed for much.

I *get* that everyone is pretty upset by this. But we’re going to be upset no matter who it is. Also, I don’t get the whole “SF fans = Neal fan” and “CS fans= Hook fans” I ship SF. Nothing we can do but offer SYMPATHY to each other when it happens. And honestly, Lisa, I haven’t seen ONE post about “I hope it’ s Neal!” or “I hope it’s Hook!” All I’ve seen is, “this sucks.”
I agree with all this.
I hate Hook for many reasons, but I’m not actively wishing he were dead. Well actually since he, Neal and Belle are the only ones who I can see dying, he’s the one I’d “root” for, but I wouldn’t have spent any time wishing him death.
The best way to protest how you feel about a show is to quit watching. I did that with LOST when I grew too angry to watch (I hated how they treated Claire/Emilie)…… I just walked away. What good does it do tweeting Adam because, as you said, he and Eddy are going to write what they want to write (and it’s been done anyway)? If you want to make a point that you feel strongly about, don’t watch….
Eddy says so many stupid and silly things that I don’t pay any attention…. I find it hard to believe, no impossible, that Gold could make that huge sacrifice and his “reward” for that would be losing his humanity. I’m sure Eddy called him the Dark One one just to make a point about how anything is possible with him (like shorthand, like he did before in one other instance which I shall not name because I don’t want to get into that, lol)

I did a close up of the dagger also and I can’t see the name either. But, revealing her name on the dagger would be a really cool way to reveal the WWW’s real name.
I don’t see how the dagger would still have Rumplestiltzkin written on it. My guess is, it’s either blank, or it has WWW’s name on it.

why would she wake Rumpel from the dead if she was already the dark one herself? obviously she still needs him which means he’s the one with the power. the only question is, is he still Rumpelstiltskin, or is he only the dark one? is the part of him that was Gold/Rumpel still alive? even after Eddy said that he’s definitely dead?
