So, as Regina cast her original curse, Rumple told Regina he was exactly where he wanted to be. Perhaps when Rumple vanished thatās where he returned to, his dark dungeon cell. Maybe thatās where WWW found him, and kept him locked up until she needed him.
But perhaps thatās where Rumple wanted her to keep him, so he could return āhomeā to his family, this time under WWWās curse. Maybe he wants her holding the dark one dagger because he now knows how to manipulate the dark one curse to its ultimate end, meaning she dies as the dark one, not him..
Sorry if that makes no sense.I like it! Dunno that he could be held in his old cell any more though, because TeamPrincess evaporated the bars when they blew the EmmaInk, but I love the idea that he’s now manipulating things to ultimately see the Dark One curse ended. We know from what he said about Charming’s dreamshade that he was still researching new magical stuff, even in present day, so maybe he’d started working on some new ideas for getting rid of his curse as soon as he got his memories back? If he could figure out a way to do that, then maybe he could get out of his “undoing”. Now that I’m thinking about it, it would make a lot of sense for him to have been trying to find a way to get out of that, because what’s the use in being reunited with his son if he’s just gonna end up dead right after, like the prophecy implied. Sure, he’d vowed to kill the “undoing boy” but it always pays to have a backup plan to get out of your foretold doom.

Keeper of FelixI was reminded last night of this blind spoiler from a month or so ago about some character on a show that is NOT “Beauty and the Beast” losing his/her memory that would affect his/her relationships…….. Unfortunately, that sounds like Ā Gold. It could be part of the reason why Belle looks so upset in those photos……..How on earth would she help him regain his memories (on top of the fact that he’s probably being controlled)? Ā The only thing is, if he doesn’t remember Belle at all, why is he looking at her so intently? Ā Maybe he thinks he should know her, but can’t quite place her?
The good part of this story is that, if we assume they will be “ok” by the end of the season, we’re only talking about going through 6 or so episodes of this instead of 11…….though I HOPE they won’t drag this out.

you know, this actually DID cross my mind, that he might not remember anything, but I dropped that thought because it would be very repetitive. unless he is really dead still and is only walking/talking because he is held together by dark one’s dark magic.
imagine the horror Belle would feel if she tries to break his curse with true love’s kiss and realizes that he has no pulse. ouch. *weeeeep*
