Well something Hook does makes her smile which is rare for Emma and she thought they were gonna kiss during the scene so something must take place.
I’m glad Emma is smiling. Goodness knows she could use a friend to make her smile. But as far as kissing goes, well, Henry is in that scene too, and so is Smee. So, that wouldn’t be the best time or place for it to happen in front of the kid and the first mate.

Do you honestly think that Adam and Eddy mentioning Hook as a friend to Emma makes that say that he’s friendzoned? Many many many couples on TV start off as friends and to me personally I don’t view what the writers said as bad, I view it as a natural progression of things. Progression does not mean an end point, the story is still continuing.
The fact that the writers classify Hook “in a lot of ways” Emma’s friend is a very big thing to say and it shows progression.

That would actually make for an awkward moment if they’re standing that close and just smiling at each other with Henry and Smee around lol

Maybe it is to see Rose, though they didn’t go to see JoAnna, but perhaps it has to do with WL too? Don’t they film concurrently, and maybe Barbara Hershey is filming too? Also they are writing 3×19 so perhaps they want to touch base with the actors /directors about it, so just a good time to arrange a trip up there to check on things.

WL finished filming about 2 weeks ago, so Barbara isn’t around since she was filming for 111 anyway.
