According to that person’s twitter, Colin’s learning to ride a horse for an episode with several horses – and the scene looks to be the same flashback-y fog scene (same setting it appears). Here are some tweets from this person that was on-set:

Heard @colinodonoghue1 was practicing all day to ride the horse in his scene today! He rode quite well too! #OUAT

Charming’s horse…he was bored and tried to nibble my gloves off when I pet him. What a beauty! #OUAT #charmattack pic.twitter.com/m5w3wJk7VD

[confirmation through a reply that JMo was NOT on set today for this.]

[person also says she didn’t see Robin Hood on set today]

The Mills Mausoleum that will be appearing in an upcoming episode. I’m not telling which! pic.twitter.com/n4OI0Zt81n

    Then there’s this:

Fans need to calm down about the “death” of Rumple – just wait and see guys! #OUAT #OnceUponaTime #YVRShoots**********

More and more looking like someone who said this was a flashback of Rumple’s was right (don’t want to go back and look right now, but whomever you are, kudos!). And it looks like it’s for a funeral of some sort, BUT, since I don’t think they are killing anyone, it’s fake/dreamstate/something like that. Also explains why Emma and Hook aren’t there in reality, and how some characters can be in NYC. Also makes it seem that the focus of the episode will be Rumple in flashbacks, which means Emma/Hook are the side story of the ep.

Love that Colin is riding a horse now. More Charming parallels.

Could the cliffhanger of 3×11 be Rumple’s apparent “death”?

    SO CONFUSED.

I still think is all a big dream sequence brought on by the blue potion that Hook gives Emma but….ERG. What is happening??

You know that foggy stuff reminds of death scenes or a spooky place like a cemetary.

True. And fog is often used to represent surrealism, like in a dream. On TV you can tell when a person is dreaming because it will have that creepy feeling to it.

Haven’t they been shooting this stuff for at least a couple of days now though? Wouldn’t think that a dream sequence would require that length of a shoot, it’d probably just be one scene.

I don’t know. Hm. Maybe? We just got the pics but we don’t know when they started shooting it.

This. TV Shows usually film around 5 scenes per day due to their schedule. They tend never spend this long on one scene.

They started 3 days ago now.

For this particular scene? I trust you, I just thought they were still in NYC.

Well…..then maybe it’s not a dream sequence. I’m sure we could figure it out, but it’s Hook that is throwing me off the most. He’s in two places!
