Flashbacks of *what* exactly though? Time was standing still and it was more or less the same events over and over, so far as we know. There isn’t really anything to show or tell. Gold collected the rent, MM taught her class, Granny and Ruby opened the diner. The only flashbacks they could do of SB would be through Regina’s eyes as she was awake. Unless they plan to show that she somehow changed how life worked in SB post losing-Owen to save herself from boredom.
Also, doesn’t explain NYC, the rapidly changing clothing, and the lack of Emma, Henry, and Rumple in FTL

If it’s an AU episode after all, then it might not be an ongoing “what if” but rather just be limited to that episode. Then from 3×13 on out we get the what really happens story arc that build to the season finale.

I think that’s possible. Which means if the FTL things we see are AU and a one time only thing, then where are the characters in reality? Still in SB? (which would explain Helga’s picture of MM’s loft the other day)
