OH idea…Rapunzel is related to Marian? Though you’d think it wouldn’t bode well for the future of OutlawQueen if Robin had to rescue a relative who was being imprisoned by Regina. Hmmmm.

WWW being a mother? Dunno. Would they want to show a sympathetic edge to her when she’s only a couple of eps into her run as a big villain? I could see WWW wanting to steal Rapunzel for her own purposes though, and that setting up a rivalry between her and Regina, if there wasn’t one previously.

We know Regina always wanted kids, but due to reasons such as the war with Snow and Charming…she couldn’t have them at the moment. But I can see Regina taking in Rapunzel as a child, and raising her in a secluded castle so no one would find out Regina’s weakness. However, the WWW(who I still say is somewhat related to Regina) is in fact the one who tricked Rapunzel into leaving the tower, but ends up losing her somehow…this pushes Regina off the deep edge, driving her and WWW to then be sworn enemies, and Regina further into casting the curse.

There’s a precedent for Regina locking a girl up for future use in a revenge plot, so it would fit if she’s in the Gothel role, holding Rapunzel prisoner. How would Robin figure into scenes of Regina being Gothel though? OH idea…Rapunzel is related to Marian? If Robin Hood is involved, I think it’s likely that Flynn Rider (Rapunzel’s love interest in the film) could be a part of his Merry Men.

Makes a lot of sense. Flynn is a thief. But, unless they are going to change from their casting call, Rapunzel was supposed to be 14. Not saying they didn’t decide to change once they case Metz, but just based on the call

Does anyone know how old the actress is who is to play Rapunzel? It could be the case that the actress is in her late teens/early 20s but playing a much younger teen. For example, Wendy Darling’s casting call “Heidi” was supposed to be 13, even though Freya Tingley is herself 19 going on 20.

I don’t see yarn…I just see fringe on the lampshade. Oh wait, with a second look I see that the yarn is on the wall. That’s really dark on my computer! Anyway, I’m with Slurpleez in thinking it’s a room at Granny’s or possibly Archie’s office. I wonder if it’s Neal’s room at Granny’s assuming that’s where he decided to stay since it was the place he was staying at before the NL arc.
#MoreBOOMLessGloomI just compared the pic that Helga tweeted from the set of 3×14 with the official promo photos from 2×18. Neal, Emma, Henry and Tamara all had breakfast together in the sitting room of Granny’s Bed and Breakfast. Looks like the setting is the same: same wallpaper, same old lady furniture, even the same balls of yarn!
