What if “SB” isn’t SB but a city in Oz? Like part of the Emerald City….or Munchkin land….(dwarf eggs hatched somewhere eventually)

I love how determined you are to get to the bottom of the dwarf egg mystery.
I think SB coming back but with bits of another land would be AWESOME. It has been my headcanon for awhile that eventually there has to be some sort of magical “bridge” between SB and the EF, created by Emma’s magic. But this could be a start if Oz sorta came with SB.

Is Gorham going to be filming for 316?? If he is then I think the theory that he’s the Wizard might be VERY true
I find it hard to believe he’s the Wizard when he was in NY with Emma and I admit that I don’t find those above points to be very convincing arguments…plus he seems awfully young to be the WOZ.
I will be so angry if Emma is Dorothy, but of course it wouldn’t surprise me coming from Adam and Eddy

If he is returning for 316 it seems like it can’t be coincidence that it’s the episode for the WWW. He might be in SB to get Emma to remember and go home in order to defeat the WWW
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 15, 2014 at 11:31 pm #237370PheeParticipantStill dunno if I’m sold on him being the Wizard, but his tweet to Adam does make me very curious. Definitely seems that we’ll be seeing him again in some capacity, and said capacity is gonna be “awesome”.
My main sticking point is his age, and my assumption that they’ll still have the Wizard leaving Oz around the same time Dorothy did. The only reason she used the slippers is because she missed the Wizard’s balloon. So if the Wizard had been back in our world for that length of time, he wouldn’t be Gorham’s age. My assumption about how and when and even if the Wizard left Oz might be way off though, and if so, then maybe Gorham could be the Wizard. As of right now, I’d say if he’s directly connected to the Wizard in any way, he might be the Wizard’s son?
OH, I just had an idea, but think I instantly debunked it in my own head before even typing it out. LOL With all but confirmation that Red will be back for the Oz arc, and Granny having gotten her cloak from a “wizard”…but Wizard of Oz didn’t have actual magic, and Red’s cloak was actual magic…so nevermind.

There could be any number of reasons that he’d be in the episosde aside from him being the WOZ….and I don’t want to criticize him, but if he IS the WOZ, you’d think he’d be mum on the matter instead of tweeting cryptic comments
I admit I don’t like the idea of him as the WOZ – he doesn’t fit at all to me and it’s just…..blah

It’s possible that the WOZ found a way to travel between our world and Oz more than once (i.e. has made many return trips). If so, then his aging might have been halted over the last few decades, since I think the curse froze all the lands with magic, if I’m not mistkaen.

Time was frozen in all lands. We learned that from ONCEWL. The wizard does have his balloon that allows him to travel.

True, that’s possible. Dunno if I’d like it though, because the basis for this show is the tragedy that Rumple’s only way to get to our world to find his son was to destroy a whole world. If it turns out he could have just gone to Oz and stolen the Wizard’s balloon, then that makes the lengths he went to for the Curse sort of ridiculous. He knew about the slippers, so by rights he should have also known about the balloon if that was possible.

It could be that he searched for the slippers before the wizard came to oz. And it may not be the balloon that traveled lands, but the tornadoes. The wizard said his balloon got caught in a storm didnt he? And even then, it could be a special magic tornado that can only be created by a magic bean or the slippers or something that isn’t so easy as for Rumpel to just waltz into iz and obtain it. However, though I have to check, I do believe the wizard gets back to oz at some point in the books. I dont think it was by tornado or balloon but I could be wrong
