Hahaha WR It was mentioned before in chat that this would be your response and who ever did was totally right.
[adrotate group="5"]So I’m trying to put together when that photo of JMo might have been taken. This is what I’ve come up with.
Someone suggested (somewhere..) a flashback:
–Young!Emma would most likely have her hair up
–No episodes so far lead me to believe we are getting an Emma flashback. 313 = Regina; 314 = Charming; 315 = Belle (maybe also Neal); 316 = Wicked; 317 = Hook; 318 = Cora/Eva (possibly Rumple); 319 = Oz
Therefore, this is not a flashback of Emma
Clothing wise, in this shot Emma is wearing a black beanie and blue jacket
What we have so far of Emma’s oufits
31 4 = white sweater and black coat
315 = rather vague but no black hat
316 = black hat but the burgundy leather jacket
317= black vest but purple plaid shirt
318 = who knows?! We have almost no images for *anyone* in 318
319 = Black peacoat/jacket but no hat
No obviously I could be missing something, but I think this *might* be from 318.
Or I’ve gone round the bend

I can see what you mean about it being from 3×18 as we have barely nothing but my guess is that it could be a flashback from her time in NYC for the fact that she looks genuinely happy. When have we seen Emma look like this not much I’d venture to say maybe the odd one or two because she’s always in fighting or worry mode since something or other has needed her attention.
Could it also be just a picture.

Whatever episode it is, I think it’s for sure BTS. Josh, ect don’t take pics of the actors while they are working. So this isn’t EMMA in a scene, it’s JMo between takes. Just trying to figure out what episode the take is from.
