I think she’ll just have a quick bit part, considering she’s not a very experienced actress and said she only worked with him really quickly. If we knew this was a Neal centric, I’d say she could just be someone from our world who’ll be in one of his flashbacks.

That wouldn’t be a huge part but it could show us his life maybe after he left Emma or during a time when he was actually searching for her. Agree that she could have had a small part in an Oz story though too so this is very mysterious. Hmmmm. š

She could be the granddaughter of Dorothy though. I could also see her as the china doll from “Oz: The Great and pPowerful” or maybe a munchkin or random citizen of Oz. ETA: What if Ashely MacDonald is playing the daughter of Zelena? O__O

I think she could be a young Dorothy that Neal met either in the Land Without Magic or Oz. The only trouble is, if its MRJ and not Dylan, his age seems wonky.Ā He was frozen in NL for many years at 14 then at some point began to age normally again.Ā We just don’t know when or if it was all continuously that way.Ā Ā We can assume people do not age in Oz as it is that way in the books of Oz.
So possibly 14 year old Bae leaves NL and lands in the “World without Magic” by shadow express.Ā Ā They can then show the next scene with the words sayingĀ “6 years later”Ā (instead of the 6 months they did in SSTR) so that MRJ is playing aĀ 20 year old Bae or something, when he meets Dorothy.Ā Ā This happens about 50 to 60 years before “present day”.Ā He’ll give her theĀ alias Neal Cassidy. Ā Ā As with the Darlings its justĀ his luck that magic comes and finds him.Ā Ā Somehow, a twister takes him and Dorothy to Oz.Ā Ā Ā There they meet Zelena and have adventures, but Dorothy is able to take the shoes and escape back to home, leavingĀ Neal stuck there until around the time he escapes Oz in time to have met Emma in Portland.
Its off with the timing of Rumple’s conversation with Jefferson but that might have just been purely “staged” conversation as the whole point of Jefferson being there was to fool Regina anyway about Frankenstein to give her falseĀ hope then yank it away.
