Actually what that is, is a statue of Pazuzu, the Assyrian and Babylonian demon king of the wind. The ancients regarded him as the bringer of locusts, storms and drought. The same figurine makes an apperarance in the movie The Exorcist near the beginning of the film during the scenes in Mesopotamia (i.e. Iraq). See Images below:

Just saw a GRIMM episode where the family matriarch stole the first born baby’s life in order to extend her own life. I think it is from an Asian or Philippine folk tale…

It’s probably just the angle and it’s actually nothing, but now that I’ve seen it, I can’t unsee the image of a woman in that tree trunk, so I need to comment so that others can be bugged by it too.
(Bottom right corner, those two lines that sort of make an arrow pointing up. Right above the point in the arrow, looks like the profile of a woman with dark hair and a white dress, with one arm sort of stretched out behind her.) Thank you so much for posting this. After watching the Disney movie, The Odd Life of Timothy Green I tweeted Jane Espenson. I was so surprised when she tweeted back. The reason I tweeted was I have really wondered if Zelena (or possibly Glinda) have been imprisoned as a tree. Here is the original tweet, (please excuse the jumble as I still don’t understand how the posting and the code stuff works_
