If we don’t get clarity that Robin got the explanation on screen, then we don’t have confirmation either way. I still think they intentionally danced around that, because of how you said realistically, Robin wouldn’t just brush aside that Regina had originally killed his wife. And I think Emma would have chosen to keep that information away from Robin, because of how overly guilty she was already feeling about the whole situation. Emma shouldn’t have felt guilty about it, but that was the way she was acting in the episode.
Even if Emma didn’t say anything about it, if I’m Marian, and especially if I’m Zelena-pretending-to-be-Marian-to-get-Robin-away-from-Regina, you’d better believe I’d make sure Robin knew all about exactly why I’d called Regina a “monster”.

Oh, I get what you’re saying. Realistically, it would have gotten out a long time ago. But in regards to the show itself, they have been unfortunately dancing around it. It’s the elephant in the room that the writers don’t want to directly address, at least not clearly.
I don’t know, maybe this is just me, but if I’m Zelena-pretending-to-be-Marian, I’d purposefully avoid revealing the fact that I was saved from the Evil Queen’s dungeons, no matter the strife it might cause between Robin and Regina. Why? Because it’d raise a red flag. In Witch Hunt, Robin describes Marian’s death as having both been his fault and on a job – neither of which point to being taken from a village with no sign of her husband or son anywhere nearby. Maybe it’s a retcon, lord knows the show’s done it plenty before, and I’d lean that way if that bit of dialogue came in 3A, but it was 3B after they’d already started putting the Zelena arc together, so until proven otherwise I think it was intentional. If Marian really DID die on a job, bringing attention to how “Marian” supposedly almost died would blow her cover.

Do we actually know that is Lilly? I keep hearing all this, but until it airs it is still speculation. Also I hope there is more to it than oh Zelena is Miran! We shall see.

Also if that is Lilly than I understand the “white-wash”, but there are “white” Latina’s out there…or light skin Latina’s with light eyes. My niece had a dark complexation when she was younger, but now looks more “white.” Just saying…but I do agree I can’t think of one POC that has been consistent..besides Lana…
