I think Hades may be completely CGI or at the very least be partially CGI. The hair alone would need to be CGI because no way they could just set fire to a guy’s head.

That sounds too expensive for this show to do, honestly.

Lord knows the only offensive magic we’ve seen them do is fireballs and beams of light…..MP’s right, I don’t think they can afford the fire hair thingie. The most they could do is give Hades a dark shade of blue hair, modeled to a similar look of the flames.

Maybe we can have a wig with the blue hair standing straight up with little LED lights threaded thru and sparkling at intervals… like when HADES gets angry… that would be fun especially since CGI would be expensive.

There as a fiery red 80's Camaro with Maine plates on the back of a truck in the #OUAT circus when I just went by. Interesting.

Now, hold on. We got Ursula’s tentacles. My guess is we’ll mainly see Hades in robes, with normal hair. Occasionally, we’ll see fire-hair (like when he turns red, even though blue fire is hotter).

….. um what? I don’t know cars but according to google, this is a 1980 red Camaro:

Who the heck is driving this around the underworld? Or even SB? I could believe this is Hercule’s car. It has a young teen feel to it. Unless Hades just has that retro style.

I don’t think so. I think they’ll go for a more modern, jet black suit look for hades. I think we might see him robes in the flashbacks though. But it seems the underworld is modern for some reason? I also don’t think he’ll have blue hair. More than likely a very dull grey if anything weird.

Omg…. WHY ARE THEIR CHILDREN IN THE UNDERWORLD AND WHY ARE THEY GOING TO SCHOOL?????????????????????? I just remembered Mila is an underworld crossing guard helping tots to cross the street? What the heck, man?

True, but I agree with Watcher that we’ll get Hades in a business suit for present day. Hades’ casting call specified that he “is always clad in a perfectly tailored suit.” The Disney Hades was influenced by smooth talking suits like Hollywood agents, car salesmen, and lawyers. Seems like Once Upon a Time’s version of Hades is following that same example, but taking it a step further. We could get more traditional Greek God robes for flashback appearances, though.

They could be reusing the Darling brothers car:

Red car  = Hades’s car in SB.
