Apparently there’s a casting call for this new character, according to this tumblr user. However, they don’t list a source, so who knows if it’s true or not. I wouldn’t rule it out either, though:

Well it took me all day but I finally remembered a Greek myth about a fox, if this woman is being called “Cleo Fox.”
So once upon a time, long long ago, there was a creature called the Teumessian fox, a rascally wily sort of creature who was destined to never be caught. It was a nightmare. But luckily, there was another magical creature who was destined to catch everything it sought–Laelaps, a magical dog.
These two–the fox and the dog–chased each other for a very long time. It was a paradox. How could a fox who could never be caught be caught by a dog who never failed to catch what he sought?
Zeus grew sick of this. Because Zeus in Greek mythology is basically a three yr old.
He turned both the fox and Laelaps into stone and then cast them into the stars where they remains today, known to us as Canis Major (Laelaps) and Cains Minor (Fox)
