Alright. I agree with Bar that this conversation is pretty much pointless. We have all we have in the ways of clues until more episodes air. The filming thread at this point stays open in case we get pics not released the day an episode was shot (some paps keep things until closer to the episode). And as always, let’s try for civility when discussing sensitive issues.

Absolutely nothing @thedarkonedearie said was wrong. “Dead is dead” is one of the biggest jokes on this show. All those characters died and then were brought back by some sort of magical macguffin, plot, magic, or other handwave. When a major character dies–Graham, Neal–they stay dead. The exception was Charming and that was done in the same episode, literally one scene later, midway through a season arc when everyone clearly knew that Charming was still alive.
And as you see after surving death, there is no way they are going to repeat resurrections (no third chances),
Anastasia says hi. This show can literally do whatever they want because its world building is so shaky and rules of magic are being made up in the moment and never allowed to solidify. In other words, there are no hard rules on this show that allow us to accurately predict what is going to happen with Robin post-death.
That is a big cath lie the way you pointed out that “death is death” is big joke. You just mentioned that Neal and graham stay dead. And that officially means the the quote death is death is a joke. You don’t even know what you’re talking about.
Resurrections: Anastasia. Blue Fairy. Rumple. Charming. Zelena. Maleficent. Probably Hook. The exception has become the rule and the rule has become the joke.
but you do realize they are not just going to repeat resurrections on the same person. It will only be a matter of time when one of them might die for good next time. And they officially said that a major character will be officially killed off this season just like season 3.
You do realize that if Hook is resurrected by the end of the season, it will be his first resurrection and not the secomd one.
Yes, and that character’s name is Robin.

I already knew it is not the second resurrection. I simply said that after a resurrection, they may not deat it, and after death, they dead and gone.
And you don’t officially know if it is Robin. None of us do. And Didn’t read any of my clues that it might not be him and the spoilers of Merida, Dorothy or Arthur. I already told you that Merida was filming for ep 23 and those photos showed Robin with her and others, which is a possible clue that he is not the one who dies off. And some of you informed, we’ll have to wait and find out.
April 15, 2016 at 3:43 pm #321534PriceofMagicParticipantI think they’ll kill off Robin, keep him dead for the rest of this season then possibly bring him back next season. It’d be too hypocritical to have the characters rush off to save Hook from death yet leave Robin to rot in the ground. Also, considering Hook is a divisive character as it is, it would only do to make him more unpopular if he gets saved yet other characters are thrown under the bus. Saying that, Hook is without a doubt a “Creator’s Pet” so the writers obviously think the sun shines out his backside.
They wouldn’t count Hades as a “major character” for this season would they? Is it definitely one of the regulars?
Also, if they did kill Robin off for good, there’s no way they could write his death without there being issues:
1. If they have Robin move on, possibly with Marian thus giving Robin a “happy ending”, it makes Regina look like a placeholder.
2. If they have Robin “wait” for Regina, then he’s just sat twiddling his thumbs in Underbrooke until Regina grows old and dies.
Either way, it won’t be a satisfactory end to Robin’s story if they do kill him off for good.
All magic comes with a price!

Well, Neal’s death came with no issues. Emma forgot about him two episodes after his feath so why can’t they do the same with Regina in order to “get back to normal” quickly?

Hmm this is an interesting thought. They can’t have him move on with Marian. But my guess is that he will wait for Regina, but when that happens, the UW no longer is the crap place that it is so its ok if Robin has to stay there. Hades will likely be defeated or changed by then. But then it would be annoying if they didn’t try and save him too like they did with Hook. So there has to be a more permanent death here which makes me think the UW will no longer exist, therefore they can’t save Robin. If you die before your significant other, does that mean you have unfinished business though? Doesn’t seem fair just because you die first haha.
April 15, 2016 at 3:51 pm #321538RumplesGirlKeymasterThe spoilers about a death never said it would be a major character. A and E were asked if there would be a death and A and E said yes. Like they do almost every year, and usually it means a guard or some other red-shirt. This year the clues are leading us all to realize that it is a probably a major death because of the funeral and reports from people on set. When there was a major character death last time (Neal) we had the Spoiler of Doom before hand, informing everyone that one of the regulars would die in 3B and that the actor or actress would not be returning. We don’t have that this time (TvLine’s Blind Item was about another show). All we have are the set pics, some odd things Sean said at the start of this arc, and what we’re seeing on screen.

And that is questioned and answered for a major character all the time. I know, I read and matched it. The minor deaths are a common thing for the show.

Not necessarily. Here’s the same question type and a very telling answer from Eddy before the S3 finale (article: X)
Will there be more death in the finale?
Kitsis: Yes, there will be death. It’s just a matter of whether or not you’ll care. It could be a major character or it could be Henchman No. 4, but death will be had.
Anytime this is asked, A and E usually say yes. But a lot of times, it simply means a red-shirt. Minor deaths are common, yes, but they are still deaths and A and E still count them when they answer those type of questions.
This is kind of moot, though. Based on set photos and reports, we know it’s a major character.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 16, 2016 at 7:28 pm #321561hjbauParticipantI am not completely convinced that Robin will die forever either. I think that more likely then not Robin will die because of the funeral, Rolan going through the portal without him, Little John being at the funeral, Robin having a centric, and Robin not being in the big scene in “New York”. I think there is no chance Hook will die, though i wish he would. I just think, like others have said, no one that matters ever really dies on this show, except for Neal and there were a lot of really dumb reasons why they killed Neal. The writers not being very good writers being the biggest reason. The biggest issue is that the writers lie and the actors lie to hide the plot. They shouldn’t, but they do.
I think there is a chance that Robin might come back and be locked in the asylum in Jekel and Hyde’s realm. I think that chance exist because no one of consequence has died on this show, except for Neal, ever. The writers are not good. Everything Sean says is suspect. The same plots are just used over and over again. Robin could die and be happily alive by episode 3 of Season 6 like has happened over and over and over again on this show.
