Yeah, Sinbad and Scheherazade are both from One Thousand and One Nights. The same story that Aladdin is from. We also have to take casting call names and descriptions carefully, because we know that they intentionally lie to throw us off. Merida’s casting call said that they were casting Rumple’s mother, and the Jekyll and Hyde casting calls said that they were “brothers”.
[adrotate group="5"]Sinbad is an actual thing though so unless they make Aladdin Sinbad and Sinbad is just an alias he uses, I don’t know. Hopefully we’ll get Jafar from Wonderland.

Keeper of FelixSinbad sounds a lot better than Aladdin to me. We’ve had a heavy dose of Disney — not a bad thing in itself, just that it all feels like shout-outs and fan service after a while — and so I’m hoping that “The Land of Untold Stories” means “stories that Disney hasn’t done yet”.

DreamWorks did Sinbad so Disney might want to put their own spin on it.
The land of untold stories has so much potential because they are then not bound by Disney. There is still some Disney movies they’ve yet to do like Aladdin, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Hocus Pocus but they can now do stories like Dracula etc.

If it’s really Aladdin the whole, I’ll be okay with that. Especially if we discover that he has a connection with Snow. Just like she did with Red, Ariel and Hercules.
I think Aladdin and Jasmine are a lot more recognizable and “Big” as oppossed to Sinbad. And they literally are an untold story since A&E said they wanted them in Season 2, along with Ariel, but didn’t get to do it. So I think its a huge chance they are who we will be seeing as we pointed out last year, we did see some vaguely dressed Arabic people in the crowds.
