JMo says she’s trying to return for the finale.
Yeaaaaah. I have problems with this for reasons Vader and Kranen point out–the script is done, the writers are actually leaving the writers room. Now, yes, it could be a quick insert scene that they slap dash together but by this point the finale is plotted and written and any JMo insertion will feel slap dash. And what does it even mean, “trying to make it work.” Make what work exactly? She’s not involved in another TV show at present, unless it hasn’t been announced yet.
Honestly? I think JMo is trying to appease her fanbase by saying that she’s trying to make it work but really not having any intention on actually making it work

She isn’t going to be part of the episode in any way that matters if she does come back. She would have to come back for days to do anything meaningful.

This is what JMo has been doing since leaving ONCE …plus several plays and theater productions …If she is actively working she might not be able to go to the set to shoot for ONCE.

Yeah. BTW, Ginny was just announced to star in a new pilot, just like Josh was a few weeks ago. So they both might be too busy filming their pilots to return to film for OUAT’s finale.
The writers have finished. You’d think that they would have known who is and who isn’t coming back by now because they would have had to write them into the episode.
Yeah, I’m guessing whatever is going to happen, it wont really involve the returning cast, whoever they may be, in any impactful way. They will just appear probably so we can all have everyone together for the final scene.

I wonder if Ginny might have a bit more leeway since her new show is on ABC whereas Josh is now contracted with a rival network?
Also, what are the chances that instead of getting the actors back, the writers/editors will just insert stock frames from previous seasons into the finale to make it look like Henry is pulling up Casa Charming’s farm?
