I also recall a spoiler from the actress who plays the Blue Fairy. She said she was going to be in either episode 2 0r 3 I believe. I hope we get to see her in SB as Mother Superior and then also in a backstory with Tinkerbell.

No, I don’t think so, although I’d love to see the BF and Regina interact. I wonder why Blue seems to be so MIA when it comes to Regina. Is it because Regina is not pure of heart and the BF only answers those who are? Thus far, we’ve never seen the BF and Regina interact. So far, the only thing that comes close to linking Blue and Regina in EF flashbacks is that when the Evil Queen announced she would cast the dark curse, the BF responded by giving the enchanted tree to send Emma to our world. I believe the only time we’ve seen Mother Superior and Mayor Mills in a scene together was in 2×2 when both women were present in the town hall (the scene in which Henry offered himself up to his adoptive mother), but neither shared any dialogue. At that point, Mother Superior lacked her wand or any fairy dust to be able to challenge Regina’s re-emerging magic.

She doesn’t just appear, which was supposed to be the big clue in “The Queen is Dead” that who Snow met in the woods was NOT Blue because even Snow says that she “hadn’t made her wish yet.” So I think Regina never asked for help. If she had though, would Blue have responded. Sneaky Fairy is also potentially part of PP’s legion so she may have let Regina to suffer in order to make everything fall into place.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"July 27, 2013 at 11:18 am #202329SlurpeezParticipantWait, hold the press! I was so wrong when I wrote Regina and Blue never had any interactions! They had several interactions in 2×10 The Cricket Game (despite not sharing actual conversations)! In the EF flashback, Snow White had the BF use her fairy dust to capture Regina, which temporarily overpowered Regina’s magic. Later, just as Regina was about to be executed by a firing squad, Snow White gave the command for Blue magically to halt the arrows that would have killed Regina.
Also, in SB, just as David, Mary Margaret and Emma were confronting Regina outside her house about Archie’s fake murder, Mother Superior attempted to use fairy dust to thwart Regina’s magic, but Regina’s dark magic proved to be more powerful and she said to Snow, “Did you really think that would work again?” (paraphrase). So, it certainly seems that Blue is firmly on the side of the Charmings and opposed to Regina. This makes sense given what we learned from Johanna in The Queen is Dead that the BF is the patron fairy to Snow White’s family.
Also, we know Blue’s fairy magic can sometimes overpower dark magic when the element of surprise is there (like in The Cricket Game), and yet Regina can also overcome fairy magic when she is prepared for it. Another example of Blue’s magic being ineffective against dark magic was when Mother Superior couldn’t counter Mr. Gold’s barrier spell using her wand to break into his pawn shop to look for his dagger in The Queen is Dead. At times, Blue’s magic is quite powerful, as exemplified by when Mother Superior was able to concoct a remedy for Belle’s memory loss when Rumple could not in And Straight on ‘Til Morning, and yet, Blue was again absent when Regina and Emma were attempting to save the town from being obliterated. So there is still a huge question mark about how powerful the BF really is. At times, she’s very useful in helping others and at other times, not so much. It’s like she has selective abilities.

Yep, I’ve never held it against Blue whenever people say she never helped Regina, because we’ve never seen Regina ask for her help. Would be interesting to see what might have happened if she did ask though. If Keegan’s gonna be in the Regina centric ep, chances are they’ll interact in some way.

That would be very interesting, and I hope Blue and Regina interact in an EF flashback. However, I think Keegan might just make an appearance in present-day SB alongside Belle, Granny, Archie and the dwarves.

July 27, 2013 at 11:55 am #202336PheeParticipantI’d considered that maybe they’d have SB flashbacks for Regina’s ep, but Eddy said in a CC interview when asked how much SB we’ll see, that the focus of the first bunch of eps would be the NL crew and FTL flashbacks. He said SB would tie in eventually, but not right away.

Yeah I’m pretty sure Regina is the character with the connection to Tinkerbelle that was teased at ComicCon. Jennifer Morrison said in one of her long press room interviews that Regina has been to Neverland before, so it makes sense for it to be her.
