Yeah I’m pretty sure Regina is the character with the connection to Tinkerbelle that was teased at ComicCon. Jennifer Morrison said in one of her long press room interviews that Regina has been to Neverland before, so it makes sense for it to be her.
Have been thinking about Regina’s apparent visit to NL, and how she got out of there, considering it’s a place you’re not supposed to be able to leave. Maybe she used Tink’s pixie dust?

She used the Mad Hatters hate to jump.
Even if she used Jefferson’s hat to get there, a major trait of NL is that you can’t leave once you’re there. So yes, she may very well have used Jefferson’s hat to get there, but there still has to be a story of how she got back out, because by rights, she should have been stuck once she was there.
That would have happened to Regina if she was in Wonderland if that was the problem. Remember it is PP that wouldn’t let people leave but that doesn’t mean there is other ways even Bae was able to leave NL. Or she could have turned herself into a fish like she did a mouse to see Rumble in jail.

I’d lovelovelove to find out more about Grace’s mother and Jefferson’s transition between The Doctor and Hat Trick.
Don’t think we know enough about the NVL mythology yet. They let Wendy go, but later say you can’t leave once you set foot on the land. Guess we’ll have to see!
Very interested to learn how Bae was able to leave and how long he was there. If time moves slower in NL, he must have been there longer than the two hundred years that passed in our world, right? The timing is fuzzy.
Going back to Belle: I’m dying to know how she fits into all of this. Here’s the interview where RC says Rumple and Belle have scenes in 3×02. And he said in another interview that they will see each other in NL, but not in the way you would expect. Ahhhhh!
What we’ve heard about leaving NL:
Wendy: There’s a reason it’s called Neverland. Because once you set foot on its soil, the Shadow never lets you leave.
Hook: It’s not possible to leave Neverland.
It also seemed that Hook was handing Bae over to the Lost Ones to gain the favour of PP, to ensure their own safety, and maybe even because if you stay on his good side, it’ll increase your chances of negotiating your way out of NL, because PP controls who can and can’t leave, (that’s what I’m assuming, at least).

It was creepy enough when Wendy Darling came back in the morning, shaken by what she saw, but it got REALLY creepy when she told Baelfire that Peter won’t let anyone who touches Neverland’s soil leave. EVER.
I agree we do not know enough yet to know how NL works. Wendy said what she did, but sometimes characters do not know the whole story. In her case she did not have much power to leave on her own and would have needed the shadow to open the portal and fly her.
So I think Regina could have used the hat to get to NL and back. Perhaps she even encountered Hook, but she was in disguise so he did not know it. She knew all about the crocodile she said when they met for the first time we saw them together. He did not seem to know her except by reputation.

we know neverland runs on belief so maybe the reason PP doesn’t let anyone leave is because it will then weaken NL, the more people he has at NL the stronger NL/he is? And the reason he takes children is beacuse they have the strongest beliefs, they haven’e experiences the harshness of life and lost hope in certain things… once doubt creeps in…
