Those are definitely more earth tone in color (Snow’s outfit) which seems to suggest post-engagment but not full on war with Regina where it looked like she went back to almost all white. That looks like something Bandit Snow might wear, but with a skirt.

Yea, they are different then the ones in the War, I don’t think she had this on when she was capture with King George either. hmmm
But it is cute that they were holding hands 🙂

Later on in the evening, Giancarlo Esposito made an appearance as the Genie. He was wearing a green-screen cgi suit, which could mean that he’s in the mirror and they only need his head for the scenes.

Re the genie: I’m curious whether Giancarlo will also make an appearance as Sidney. It’d make the most sense to tie up that loose end while the actor is available.

If we’re seeing MagicMirrorGenie in the middle of the forest in flashback scenes, I’ve gotta think that there’ll be something magic mirror-esque happening in NL in present day to parallel it.
The other day I posted somewhere that perhaps if the JR6 split up, they could use something magic mirror-esque to communicate with each other, and perhaps Belle is playing around with a mirror too and ends up getting patched in and that’s how the Rumbelle “reunion” happens. Now knowing we’ll likely get Magic Mirror flashbacks, that whole “reunion via mirror” theory is sounding slightly less crackpot.
Really hope we get to see Sidney in SB in this ep too, even if it’s only briefly, because the number of times fans have wondered, “So is he still locked in the hospital basement?” Would be nice to an answer to that.

Hopefully, Belle will remember Sidney is locked up in the psyche ward since their time there overlapped a bit. Perhaps as gratitude for freeing him, he’ll offer to help Bell contact Rumple in NL via a mirror. Since magic is different in SB, perhaps Sidney can transition between forms rather than always being stuck in the mirror (akin to how Rumple’s curse wasn’t as full-blown in SB compared to the EF).

or maybe Sidney can conjure up a hand-held magic mirror and Belle can use that. Â which would be perfect since that’s what Belle used in the Disney mirror to see her papa (who is a lot more likable in the Disney version than on Once).
I’m pretty sure the magic mirror is going to show up . It’s a component of most versions of “Beauty and the Beast” (some have a magic ring instead of a mirror) and although they’ve twisted and put their on spin on the story in the Once-verse they’ve also stayed pretty loyal to the story.
I also think, and hope, that Belle and Moe are reunited. He needs to make amends and repent for what he did. I think they’re going to come to some sort of understanding…and just maybe a crackpot fairy idea might come to fruition (why am I saying that! I do not subscribe to that one :P)
