Exactly, Phee. Unless Tamara can transport quickly between NY and PA (highly doubtful 🙄 🙄 ) she cannot be HER.
I lived in Philly for two years. It only took me approx. 2.5 hours to get to NYC on the train. Over there on the east coast, everything is closer than we imagine.
AND while I lived in Philly my phone number was still an Ohio area code because I was from Ohio and that’s where I had bought my phone. As a video editor, you can make anything look more dramatic than it really is. I’m calling it now they’re totally misleading us.
Totally 100% true they could be misleading us. It wouldn’t be the first time. But given the new hashtag and promotional pics from ABC AND coupled with the “what the {bleep} is her agenda” spoiler, I think we’re on the right track. Don’t worry CaptainSwan-er, we’ve got a long time to go before SwanFire because the obvious endgame. 😉

Unless she carried two phones – one NY area code and the other, PA.
March 21, 2013 at 5:27 pm #181350RumplesGirlKeymasterBut the phone wouldn’t say where she was calling from, it only says the area code of where the phone originates. So, using myself as an example, when I lived in PA and called home to my mom in OH, the phone number showing up on my mom’s end was the OH area code even though I was in PA because I bought my phone in OH and not PA. So she could be in NY but have a phone whose area code is still PA if that’s where she bought her phone.
But I do know where you’re going with this. Greg’s license plate is PA and the area code for HER is PA so it seems to follow that they would both have to be in PA together if HER is Greg’s girlfriend. However, we don’t the following:
–How long has Greg been traveling around the east coast trying to find SB and obviously stopping at certain destinations? We can assume (based on some spoilers) that Tamara and Neal meet in NYC around the time August is leaving for SB in S1. That’s about a year ago. It does seem unlikely that Greg has been looking for a year, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been looking for a long time. Has Tamara been in NYC since Greg left, trying to follow August and then meeting Bae? Commuting to and from NYC/PA/ the eastern sea board may seem strange, but I had several professors who lived in NJ/DE/NY and took train into Philly everyday to teach. It’s actually quite common, so she could be a commuter who lived in PA but traveled into NYC after Greg left to try and find SB.
Now that sounds really complicated and I agree it is, but even if she’s not HER I still think she’s up to something rather suspicious. And if she’s not HER that means they have to introduce yet ANOTHER character and at that point I start banging my head against a wall. 😀
I think my overarching point here is, it is possible for her phone to say PA and for her to have physically be in NYC without having to resort to some sort of super spy Bond like two phone situation."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 21, 2013 at 5:27 pm #181352SlurpeezParticipant@obisgirl wrote:

She wouldn’t have to carry two phones. She would only have one cell phone with PA area code that remains the same when she travels to a different state. She wouldn’t have to make a special trip back to PA just to make it seem like she’s calling from there. No matter where she goes in the US, it will look like she’s calling from PA on her cell phone, even though she makes the call from NY. The cell phone area code doesn’t change to match the city where a call is made; the outgoing cell phone area code is set when it is registered with a plan.
