Found this theory on ouattheories.tumblr.com
[adrotate group="5"]December 27, 2012 at 10:48 am #166418gypsyParticipantI think Jefferson is supposed to be the White Rabbit.
He’s the realm jumper, leading ppl down rabbit holes, which is what the WR did – lead Alice down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.
When Regina needed to get ahold of Jefferson in Storybrooke, she left a White Rabbit Tarot card on Paige/Grace’s bike.
December 27, 2012 at 10:53 am #166419tiara_roseParticipantBut Jefferson couldn’t go to our world and the white rabbit was a jumper, who could go the world without magic.
So if Neal is Bea. He also fall into hole from a land with magic in a land without magic.
But I think that it is maybe possibile that Neal knows Jefferson too. When he left alone in this world, maybe he trie to get back, but the only way he found was Wonderland. When he found Cora or Jeff and heard what his father did to them. Neal could give up on his father and return to the land without magic.

December 27, 2012 at 11:17 am #166422gypsyParticipantIf Jefferson isn’t the White Rabbit, but, knew the WR from being in Wonderland, wouldn’t the WR have been able to get Jefferson out of Wonderland?
Or, even get Cora out of Wonderland, for that fact.
That’s why Jefferson was stuck in Wonderland, and why Cora wanted him to make another hat….so she could get out of Wonderland because there was no other way besides Jefferson’s hat.
Making the WR another character that could go between worlds provides another way out of Wonderland, therefore undermining the fact that Jefferson and Cora were stuck there.
December 27, 2012 at 11:43 am #166423tiara_roseParticipantYes they were stucked there, but Neal comes from our land to wonderland. We know it is not possibiliy to jump from magical world to non magical world, but the other way around it could be easier, because the hat of Jefferson couldn’t jump to our wolrd, but he was able to ue his hat from our world to ET (the poisened apple). That would mean that it is easier to go the other way. Example: We now that the magic bean was in ET not any longer possibile to get, but maybe there are some in our world and he found some and go to Wonderland.

December 27, 2012 at 12:31 pm #166428gypsyParticipantYou kinda lost me, there, but, if Neal is the White Rabbit, he wouldn’t need a bean to get to Wonderland, he would use the rabbit hole.
Jefferson’s Hat, I think, represents the rabbit hole.
The poison apple falls down through the ‘rabbit hole’ from FTL, but pops up through the Hat in Storybrooke.
Lewis Carroll describes this concept, when Alice is falling through the rabbit hole….she puts the marmalade jar back on a shelf so it doesn’t kill anyone below her, which she thinks is upside down because she fears the rabbit hole will take her straight through to the other end of the Earth where ppl walk upside down.

If she’s someone from our world, as in the original story, then Jefferson can’t be her WR, because his mode of realm jumping didn’t have contact with our world. If she was from some other magical world that Jefferson could access, then it’s entirely possible for him to be her WR.
But then there’s also the issue of where Alice fits in the timeline. Some have theorised that she was Jefferson’s wife, which would mean she came before he was stranded in Wonderland. I personally hope that her story comes after he was trapped, after he goes mad, so that they’re still able to stick with the story of Alice attending the Mad Hatter’s tea party. If so, then Jefferson couldn’t be her WR, because he was stuck in Wonderland when she travelled there.
The White Rabbit calling card, and Jefferson’s hat resembling a rabbit hole, could point towards him being the WR though.
We don’t know if Jefferson is the only one who had a realm jumping hat. There may have been others, or there may not. We do know that there were other means of jumping between worlds, even if you didn’t have the hat. Perhaps there’s not one specific WR in the Onceiverse. Perhaps WR is sort of a slang term for those who can realm jump by any means? A name they collectively adopted to describe themselves? It’d be a fitting name, given that they jump.
If that were the case, it’d allow for Jefferson to be classified as one, but would also leave the option open for someone else to be Alice’s specific WR, if she came from our world without magic, which Jefferson couldn’t access. It would also mean that Bae(/Neal?) could be classified as a WR, because he jumped between worlds. I dunno that I think Neal is the WR, from Alice’s story, though I know that part of that theory states that it explains the monicles hanging on his wall, under the “Hatters” sign, and that’s a reasonable connection to make, so I can see why people went there. Neal just doesn’t really strike me as having the right personality to be the WR from Alice’s story. He’s too mellow, and from memory, the WR in the story was a tad hyper. Perhaps we were supposed to make a WR/realm jumper connection with Neal though, and those things in his apartment were a hint that’s he’s Bae, who has realm jumped.

A bit confused but do you mean that Neal would be Bae and White Rabbit?
If Neal was the white rabbit I would love to see him then be a double agent where while working for Cora he is recruited by Rumpelstiltskin to meet Emma and guide her into her destiny.
December 27, 2012 at 3:21 pm #166440gypsyParticipantI don’t think Neal is the White Rabbit.
I do thi k he’s Bae and I think he is Peter Pan.
There are way too many clues connecting the name – Neal Cassady to Peter Pan – to ignore.
Names are significant…..they named him that for a reason, and I believe that reason is because he is PP.
December 27, 2012 at 4:17 pm #166441oncewatcherParticipantYou know, I have given this a lot of thought, and I don’t think Neal is the whtie rabbit. K&H have already said we won’t see Peter Pan this season, but we will see Neal, so that tells me he can’t be Peter, but….I do think he is a Lost Boy. Specifically, I think he might be Nibs. Nibs was the only one to remember his mother.
