I think she is Morgana from King Arthur because august said “she’s mmm” and I really don’t know what to pair that taser thing with but that’s the only one I could make sense of. However it could be medusa. Opinions?

March 25, 2013 at 3:33 am #182040CrownedWithLaurelsParticipantThere’s a little bit of post-Selfless Brave and True discussion here,
https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=3478&start=30I just posted a theory I found on tumblr in the thread link above.
There are also many theories in another thread, titled “Tamara Is”, but that was before we all knew she was Her.There are actually many who think she is Morgan le Fay, it is talked about extensively in the “Tamara Is” thread.
I’m really not sure myself! I guess it depends on if she is lying or not. Why would she be even a little surprised that “nothing from this land” was in the bottle if she was from FTL? At the same time, maybe she was surprised because she didn’t think this world had any FTL magic in it? (If she’s from FTL)? So it could go either way!
Its just so crazy all of the possible scenarios!Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

Second she said that magic is rare in this world, some would say its fictional..Dragon: but not you; Tamara: Not me…that conversation alone makes me think that she is not from this land and I am leaning towards Cinderella’s fairy godmother or a relative of hers like others have theorized… I just think it was odd how she worded everything…
March 25, 2013 at 4:03 am #182046playaritaParticipantI wonder if her relatives were ones who used or were in tune with magic but were driven away/persecuted for it and she’s trying to collect magic to either use it against those who have wronged her (either directly, or to the general who would disbelieve etc) or to prove magic is real. Or maybe it is a bitterness towards other lands like Enchanted Forest that believes in magic where it flourishes and not have those who use it persecuted (not for the use of magic only for the crimes one might commit)
March 25, 2013 at 4:15 am #182051astrawoidParticipantI was actually wondering if she was some FTL character that might have been banished to “the land without magic” like Rumple almost was. Maybe she abused magic and got sent to our world as a punishment. Not yet sure who she would be from FTL though.

"Because... it was born out of true love."March 25, 2013 at 4:35 am #182058thathelesParticipantit could have just been August saying she’s a murderer… he had just figured out that she murdered The Dragon
March 25, 2013 at 5:47 am #182082beastwhispererParticipantI’m wondering about Tamara’s grandmother being Dorothy for an Oz connection. We’ve heard reference to the ruby slippers having gone from Oz. That could fit on the timeline. Greg (Tamara’s lover) had a town dropped on him as a child. The wizard bridges magic and science, which fits the theme of this plotline. Tamara could have seen the ruby slippers and have known since childhood. She could easily be a human with an axe to grind, especially if something happened to her grandma as a result of magic.

That’s a really interesting theory. I don’t know if I’m completely sold on it but it could work. Maybe there was a price for using the ruby slippers and Tamara saw her grandmother pay that price and now she wants to reverse it. Or maybe just be able to use magic herself.

"Because... it was born out of true love."March 25, 2013 at 7:05 am #182086lisasParticipantI think Tamara either could be a dark fairy named Morgan le Fay who is was tied to the King Author Legends like Lancelot & Knights Of The Round Table and Melin. or she could be related to Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother that Rumple killed. How she met up with Greg or should I say Owen is a mystery. I think her intentions for the people of Storybrooke are very sinister and even worse the Greg’s. He just wants his father back and revenge on Regina plus I think he wants to expose magic to the world.
