Alice might have been the Guardian in the EF 2.0 and threads of that carried over to HH, but it seems like there is another Guardian out there who can harness the Dark One Dagger without succumbing to the darkness. If Alice is no longer THE Guardian…who is it now? And will Rumple actually let that person take the Dagger once he learns who it is?

I think that’s possible, I just don’t know if I like the solution. I’m not sure Rumple would give over the dagger to his great-granddaughter or if Henry would even let him.
It’ll be a “We are all the Guardian” type of resolution.

I agree, I think Alice is the guardian of the dagger which I think was proved this episode. I wonder how the dagger got into her possession? Did she go in a take it without realizing it? Did it just magic its way into her backpack? I do like how the dagger is talking to her, they actually established that in Season 5 with Emma who could hear the dagger.
i actually briefly considerd a plot twist would be that Alice was actually a dark one hence why she was hearing the dagger

Maybe the immortality will offset the curse that Henry was given somehow. I really think the fact that Henry was riding by on his bike should be important.
Put me in the camp of thinking it is still Alice and that he will find a way to rid the immortality that comes with it. Although, I kind of am afraid of this scenario….I don’t want some magical macguffin to appear and just take the immortality away.
What if it IS Henry (The boy will be your undoing), and THAT’S how they save his life!?
Jiminy, you and I seem to be the only people that won’t let this go. If Henry is the guardian and he ends up being Rumple’s “undoing,” I will be so incredibly satisfied.
