    20 cookies says that the other man in the cage next to Cyrus is the Sultan, Jafar’s father who denied Jafar as his son.

    I’ve been thinking that man was the Sultan since we first saw him back in episode 2.

    The little ironic bow Jafar gave him at the end of the episode sealed it for me.

    And now we know that Jafar wanted revenge on the Sultan because he’s his father, so Jafar has daddy issues.

    I know, right? Lol.

    And if the Sultan is the same Sultan from Disney’s Aladdin, then that means Jasmine is Jafar’s sister and that would all kinds of weird because in the movie, he wanted to marry Jasmine. .

    I was wondering that, Obisgirl! I wonder if Jafar’s over all plan is to take down the Sultan and dethrone his sister, Jasmine, who is married already to Aladdin.

    Though I don’t believe this, the old man COULD be Aladdin. Just an older version of him. The story of Aladdin and Jasmine could have taken place years ago from the time the story is taking place. I’m sure Jafar would want to lock up his greatest enemy.
