Emma believes that Regina or the EQ might be under the hood in her vision. Poll time: who is under the hood and why?

Naturally. LOL!
My cookies are on Emma–her scared, orphan self that she must kill in order to finally be at peace with herself. She’s having an identity crisis and the season will end with her killing the part of her identity that keeps her from embracing everything around her.

Archie’s therapy session really sets this up: so, whatever she thinks is left if she is not the savior is probably what would get “extracted” from her should she drink the serum. And my guess is that she would drink the serum to try to “save” herself from the savior’s fate.

Yes, exactly
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"October 2, 2016 at 9:57 pm #328121MatthewPaulModeratorThis is a typical Oedipus scenario. Trying to prevent your future will lead to it happening. Just like we saw with Rumple. A classic case of a self-fulfilling prophecy
October 2, 2016 at 10:55 pm #328134SlurpeezParticipantI’m still inclined to think it’s EQ. 6×2 established that Regina/EQ is an excellent swordswoman. That is like laying a trail you intend to hike.

True, but the other option is that it’s a red herring because A and E love themselves a big ol’ Tweetable twist. Everything is pointing to the EQ: the swordfighting, the S1 feel, Emma realizing that Regina isn’t in her vision and voicing her concern that it’s the EQ under the hood. Which honestly is a big part of what’s making me believe it’s not the EQ. Why the hood? We know she’s our arc villain (at least one of them) so it’s not to stun the audience. The heroes know she’s in town now too so it wouldn’t be a shock to them either.

And let’s be honest…as much of a diva as the Evil Queen is, she wouldn’t be caught dead in that hooded cloak.
