Could also be Dragon. He has red magic after all.

And EQ never really said he was dead.

If it turns out to be the Blue Fairy in the hood, I will laugh out loud with glee.

And let’s be honest…as much of a diva as the Evil Queen is, she wouldn’t be caught dead in that hooded cloak.

Here is my crackpot theory that tries to put the hood and magic factor into the picture. So it’s Emma’s dark non-savior side that she split off by drinking the serum. That half of Emma decided, whether because she is actually selfish and bad, or because she is still trying to save everyone, but has less ethical qualms about how to go about it, that she needs more power. She therefore stabs Rumple with the dagger and gets his powers (a logical, if depressing demise for Rumple), becoming the new Dark One again, with all the accumulated powers of dark-oneness. But unlike Rumple, who seems to have learned to symbiotically contain the darkness without going all out rampaging evil, Emma’s Evil Ash can’t do that, and becomes something truly monstrous.

Whoever it is, I’m pretty sure it’ll be spoiled via set photos in the next couple of months. They’ll probably film it out in Steveston again which will more than likely include the big reveal. If A&E were smart (which they aren’t), they should film it with quite a few people in the hood to try to throw us off.

I think it’ll be Emma’s non-saviour side, but I don’t want it to be. We dealt with Emma’s dark side last season. It was handled very poorly, but it’s done now and I don’t want to revisit it. I do find it intriguing that Regina isn’t in the vision. If she’s not under the hood, my guess is that she’ll appear on the scene as soon as Emma is stabbed and destroy the hooded horror and save Emma. The vision feels like a climax of sorts and it doesn’t make sense for Regina to not be present.

Uhhhhhhh I want it to be Blue so bad.  Like so incredibly bad.  A classic villain hiding in the shadows but in plain site this whole time.  It’s almost too good to not write it in, even if it wasn’t planned.

But I’m going to stick with it being Rumple.  Second place vote goes to Jafar.  I think this EQ thing is a red herring.  They wouldn’t show us the answer this early.  It’s meant to throw us off.  And Emma having to kill herself just seems so corny for my liking.  I believe it was Jafar (or the Oracle) who said every Savior has that villain who is their arch nemesis.  Maybe that arch nemesis is herself, but I have always felt like it’s Emma and Rumple: Two powerhouses who up until this point, really have not had many physical magic quarrels, if any.  Lot of chatter but to me it always felt they were saving the actual fighting for the end game.  It would be quite poetic honestly.  Emma isn’t going to die…she’s going to kill the person under the hood.  I think Rumple will die this season, and it would be pretty poetic if the person Rumple basically created (with the help of Snowing) to help find his son, ends up terminating him before he can officially “meet” his new son.

After six seasons of rooting for this crack theory…Shady Blue will finally become a reality for all of us! This is what we’re waiting for!!
