KeymasterI don’t think Wendy is in SB, my head canon and natural inclination are twofold:
1) She is in our world (but not SB) running THO branch here, after spending a long time in NL. (I don’t really like this one because it brings up too many t-word and Bae issues)
2) She is back on NL, having gone after Bae when she was older.

You’re welcome! Seems I’ve been on a “parse the interview” spree today. My head is still spinning from all the leading questions and odd commentaries in between what the actual answers are. If people would just stick to here’s the question and here’s their answer things would be so much easier but no…they insist on telling us what it “must mean!” (and they’re usually wrong…)

SpectatorIf PP is a man and Henry is a boy of 11 years old, do you think he needs Henry unless Henry is just bait to get the gang to NL. Why would an adult shadow want to latch on to a boy ❓

ParticipantGood question. We don’t really know why he needs Henry in the first place. For all we know it could be a kid and he looks exactly like Henry. I’ve always been of the mindset that where usually Peter is looking for his shadow, this time the shadow is looking for Peter (or at least, a body) so it would make sense to be a child.
While I agree that whoever plays Peter will (seemingly) have to go up against our heroes, a child (especially with weird, sinister powers) could be quite creepy and intimidating, especially to someone new at magic and to the realm (like Emma) and especially when they have a band of followers as well. Lest we forget, Peter has the lost ones on his side and some of them (like Felix) are definitely older and intimidating.
I realize that Rumple & Regina are there too and have better control over their magic than Emma does, but we don’t know yet how magic works within NL or how that might affect any of them. If it doesn’t work the way they expect it to, then a child with powers in an environment he is accustomed to and backed by a large group of friends could be quite dangerous.

I suspect it must have something to do with Henry being conceived and born in The Land Without Magic by two FTL parent, with the finale stressing that uniqueness of him by having Regina say that he alone would survive the destruction of Storybrooke.

Yes, if PP is an adult why would he want to latch on to a kid that is 11 years old.

Except Cinderella had her baby in SB, and she too was from FL and so was her Prince.

ParticipantI agree HappyEndings: I think they conveniently forgot about little Alexandra (which would have meant Henry taking care of a baby, much like August & Emma only Henry would have done the right thing presumably).
Still, they shouldn’t have forgotten about her, though I have a feeling since it came from Regina she a) doesn’t care about some other random baby and b) *would* feel like Henry would be all alone if she and Emma and everyone else were gone. That’s my only guess on that.

Which is why I mentioned that he was not just born but conceived as well, since Alexandra clearly was in FTL with Ella being a 9 month pregnant woman for 28 years in SB. I’m pretty sure that was how we should’ve interpreted Regina’s words in ASOTM, since I don’t think the writers remember to make that distinction with Cinderella and Alexandra not being very relevant to the overall story.

KeymasterYes, if PP is an adult why would he want to latch on to a kid that is 11 years old.
There are many theories about this. Mine is that he needs Henry’s shadow, that Henry’s shadow is special and has something to do with making sure PP will never age in NL. I think thus far, he takes shadows from boys to keep the magic in NL going, but it’s never enough. Henry’s shadow is like the ultimate sacrifice.
