But, Lee wasn’t in Vancouver when Ginny was filming on the ship, so I doubt we’re going to see Grumpy on the Jolly Roger. They might share scenes in SB though. I think Grumpy would stay with Anton and the rest of the dwarves, especially if they return to the EF. Grumpy was the most vocal one in wanting to return to their homeland.

That’s true but Grumpy is also the most vocal about his loyalties to Snow. He takes his duties as part of the Royal Guard very seriously.
You make a good point about Grumpy not on the Jolly Roger. My only thought is that maybe he comes along later? Today’s pics from set will be interesting. They could be on the Jolly Roger and if we see Lee somewhere around…."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 27, 2013 at 3:22 pm #182641kfchimeraParticipantAre all the pictures of the cast on the boat actual pictures of scenes? Or were they just having fun exploring the set? The other thing is we know the boat has inside rooms. So it is possible that some characters are “in” the boat but will not be shown “on” it.
I don’t see them abandoning SB entirely though, as filming scenes there probably requires a lot less than effort and cost than elaborate sets/make up/costumes/cgi of a fantasy world. Then again, if they are just running around a dense wood, that’s not so bad I suppose.

I don’t just think the actors of OUAT were taking a joy ride on the Jolly Roger. From the looks of it, they were there filming, in toe with make-up artists, film crew, and camera equipment. I believe the characters are headed on a journey, and the likeliest destination is Neverland.

Since Peter Pan is Edward Kitsis’ favorite fairytale, I think they’ll pull out the stops to make it happen. Also, the show is a front-runner show on a network backed by Disney, a huge multi-billion dollar company, and green screen is actually less espensive to film a fantasy show on compared to the cost of film sets.

March 27, 2013 at 7:05 pm #182678RumplesGirlKeymasterI don’t think they’ll abandon SB for the entire run of the show, but I do think we’re going to say goodbye to it for awhile.

I would not have mentioned that characters could be in the boat rather than shown on it if I thought the actors were just joyriding for the heck of it. My question really was if all the pictures were of actual scenes or if some might have been of actors between takes? I was wondering if the set of people on the boat to Neverland could be both greater or smaller than we might guess from just those pictures.

Again, I never said they couldn’t afford to show Neverland. I just doubted whether they would abandon the real world setting. They obviously had a budget for all the flashback stuff in the enchanted forest and wonderland, so Neverland is no different for them to pull off.
Disney may be big, but every show has a budget set within the advertising revenues the network expects to make. Don’t worry, they can do a lot on that budget, as these first two seasons have shown us. But they do have limits. It’s why they could not actually film Manhattan IN Manhattan. It was cheaper to use Gastown and CGI in the NY background. It was not because they did not want or think to go to real NY, since they did for Broken. So I am sure they will spend a fair amount of the budget to make Neverland awesome, but I am still expecting scenes back in the real world.“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. I believe the rule on set is that people watching aren’t allowed to take photos during actual filming, so pretty much every behind the scenes photo we get is between takes.

I think they are going to be searching for him at the beginning of season 3 and that’s when we will see the flashback to Nealfire’s first days there to parallel Henry’s.
