or for Hook’s father or pirate mentor (Blackbeard?), Mr. Needs-no-Guyliner himself, Nestor Carbonell (Richard).

Hmm, I can see that. Agent Mascara as Hook’s daddy.

I hadn’t seen that show of Dominic’s! Now I will feel its a sad waste of what could have been a brilliant turn in a villain role! I have a feeling that as usual, fans are on a completely different wavelength from that of casting directors. I am ok with that–I like what they’ve done on the show for the most part, but it is still fun as it is with our theory talk to throw out some wild-will-never-happen ideas.

    More “reunion” style castings:

CHUCK: Zach Levi did the voice for Flynn Rider in Tangled. Zach could be fun as the scarecrow in OZ? Adam Baldwin for Tin Man? Josh Gomez as the Lion? How about Timothy Dalton as Merlin or as an “old” Robin Hood ?

Farscape/SG-1: Claudia Black as Morgan Le Fay and Ben Browder as Arthur, or I could see her as one of the bad witches in OZ, with Ben as the Wizard. Hey those two already in 2 shows together–what’s one more?

Heroes: We have David Anders (Whale), so how about Masi Oka (Hiro)? Not sure maybe a legendary samurai or something. I know we haven’t seen Shang, but he doesn’t strike me as the right type for that.

House: J. Mo was on that show. I never watched more than an episode or two and I doubt they could get Hugh Laurie–but again, aged up RH or Merlin or Arthur…reading the SB phonebook, I don’t care! Linda Edelstein could be a witch in OZ.

Claudia Black wold make an excellent Morgan la Fey! didn’t even think of her until you mentioned it.

Hugh Laurie needs to be a very grouchy Merlin who tries to teach Emma magic. It would be so meta, my head might explode.

Lol, I remember a few years ago my neice, who was only about 14 at the time telling me, “House is very attractive for an old man.” It was just not someone I’d ever think she’d find attractive at her age at the time, although I whole-heartedly agreed with her.

Hugh would make a great grumpy Merlin. I remember the only casting I’ve ever gotten correctly for guessing in show or movie was for “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets”. Everyone on a site I was active in at the time was arguing over who should play Prof. Lockhart and my first choice was Kenneth Brannaugh. As soon as plans for the second movie were announced I knew he was the only one I could picture in the role. I remember getting shot down for my choice, but then I gloated after he was actually picked.

I pictured Hugh Grant as Lockheart but I have to agree Brannagh is a better choice. What I found funny were all the shippers putting Lockheart with Trewlawney, given that Brannagh and Emma Thompson used to be married (she played Trewlawney).

I also think Claudia Black would make a good pirate mama for Hook(in flashbacks)–could work in Bowder as a sea captain trying to capture her or something.

You mean Ben Browder? Farscape.  John and Aeryn back together again.

Yes, that guy-they were also in SG-1 last season together, though they had completely different characters, with a totally different dynamic.  I just think it would be funny for them to go for show #3 that way.

I’m sure whoever they cast as PP will be fabulous, (it’s a major role and one of their fave storybook characters, so they’re gonna make sure it’s cast perfectly), but dammit ever since you mentioned Dom, I think I’ll be a little bit bummed if they cast anyone else. I mean seriously, the dude will take on a cobra without a second thought, so the Dark One and the Evil Queen would be right up his alley. 😉

My head wants to explode at the mere thought of it!

Amy Adams or Isla Fisher are both perfect to play Ariel.

Holland Roden is often used as Ariel by people making fanart and vids. I’m not familiar with her acting style, but she certainly looks the part.

That video of Dominic Monhagan and the snake is crazy!  Well Peter Pan might be already a done deal for someone, but maybe they can get Dom a role in another season to keep him safe from all those beasties!

Since next year is the 50th anniversary of the release of Mary Poppins, I’d love to see them do a Mary Poppins episode and include a brief cameo of Dick Van Dyke and Julie Andrews, even if we only saw them for 5 seconds standing on a street corner.
