I still believe everything is written in the stars.

Then when things went awry he had to use it to help Henry realize he truth by giving it to Mary Margaret. Just like he had Emma find it in the gutter when she needed it.

I have a sneaking suspicion that either August or Baelfire had a hand in writing the book. I know the timing is a bit off, but I just can’t shake the feeling that they’re some how involved.
And I love the idea of Belle playing a role in discovering the book’s origins. 😀
I’ve always believed too. But the timeline kind of screws with the theory. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Baelfire was involved with it somehow. But if I had to bet money, I’d say the fairies wrote it. But that theory also kind of involves Baelfire. Baelfire’s most life-changing event happened because of a fairy. Being sent to another world. This event led to the creation of the curse and eventually, the fairies writing the book. There’s definitely some kind of connection there. So, if the fairies wrote the book as a way to help break the curse (a curse that was inspired by Baelfire), then he must be connected to the book somehow.

But I was thinking about some of the stories…especially those about Snow and Charming…how would they know those stories. Could it possibly be Rumple, because he seems to know things no one else knows.
One reason I believe it could be Rumple, is because he did not know who August was…it makes sense that he wouldn’t know the story that was left out of the book. However, he didn’t get his memories back until he heard Emma’s name so he would have had to write it before the curse took effect.
Another idea is the Blue Fairy…she would have been around long enough and would know the stories…although you would think that Pinnochio’s story would have been in the book. The Blue Fairy mentioned making final preparations for the curse…maybe the book was part of that preparation.
Then again, if the Blue Fairy wrote it, I can certainly see why she would have left out the part about how there was only enough magic for “one” to go through the wardrobe.
(edited to add: I just started a new thread to discuss a new theory…maybe Henry wrote the book)

That’s a great thought…another thing that would support your idea is that the plan sort of backfired on the Blue Fairy at the last minute when she realized that Emma was born too soon and would have to go into the wardrobe alone. If the writer of the book was a human it would take a long time to make the book…but one would think that a fairy…especially the Blue Fairy could whip a book up with the wave of a wand. Perhaps the book contains everything needed to break the curse and bring Baelfire back to his people.

If the writers are somehow about to show us how/when the book was written and when it comes to Mary Margaret and then to Henry, they will have to film it quickly, because Jared looks already older than last year.May 8, 2013 at 1:18 am #192081RumplesGirlKeymaster@gen wrote:

I can see her holding on to it for years, not knowing why she had it until she met Henry in her class and suddenly gave it to him. That whole fate thing.
My personal theory is this: the BF wrote the book before leaving FTL and Mother Superior gave it to MM without really knowing why. MM held on to it, again not knowing why, until henry entered her class. I think the can do enough with makeup to make Jared appear a year young for one quick scene of MM giving him the book."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
