Perhaps PP and the Lost boys are intending to feed Neal to some giant creature, maybe a giant crocodile? Rumple may be “the crocodile” that took Hook’s hand but that doesn’t mean he’s the only crocodile in Neverland. It seems odd to put Neal in a hanging cage for no reason.
I don’t think it’s Rumple’s father for several reasons. 1. Rumple’s father is only scheduled to appear in 308 and 311. 2. I think the 308 appearance will be flashback whilst the 311 appearance will be present day Neverland with Rumple finally confronting and overcoming his father issues.
It could be Tinkerbell in the cage. Pan knows a lot that he shouldn’t know so if he knew Tink was trying to betray him, he’d want to punish her.
Ariel in the cage would make sense as would Eric since it’s their centric next episode.
I don’t think it would be Wendy.

Keeper of FelixI don’t think the mystery of the box will be answered until 307 at least. 306 and 307 will put our focus elsewhere and I think 307 will feature Neal’s return to the group so we may get some inkling then. They could do like they did with Cora for Hat Trick and have another actor in the box but use Rumple’s father voice.

Tootles was always portrayed as a bit more sensitive than the other lost boys. What if he and Neal were good friends before Neal left the island? I could see this Pan keeping Tootles in a cage because he helped young Baelfire escape or something. It’s just not Neverland without Tootles.
Other possibilities that I like: Wendy, Rumple’s Father, Ariel.
The more I think about it, the more I like the idea that it’s Belle! In the promos for ep 6, they show Belle turning into a shadow after being choked by Regina meaning this is likely the last we’ll see of VisionBelle…bringing in RealBelle would be necessarily to keep Belle part of the story for the remaining Neverland arc! If it’s Belle, we may finally get to see her interacting with Neal! Plus, I love the idea of Belle getting to be part of the rescue effort for Henry.
Whoever is in the box is meant to be a big reveal. There is a reason we weren’t shown!
I think that Wendy Darling being in the cage next to Bae would make sense. There have been spoilers that the Darlings brothers, John and Michael, are grown up and working for PP in SB. Wendy being held captive in NL may be what motivates the Darling bros to keep working for PP as his emissaries on Earth. Plus, Wendy and Baelfire have a history together, so it’d be interesting to see them reconnect.

Technically, isn’t is just speculation that the Darling boys are grown and working for Pan? I haven’t seen anything that actually confirmed it. I suppose it *could* be Wendy, but I think Belle makes more sense if Pan wants to mess with Rumple.
My initial four guesses:
–Belle (wouldn’t it be awesome for her to finally FINALLY get to talk to Bae?) And Also Pan’s thing seems to be messing with people psychologically–what better weapons could he have against Rumple than the pair of them?
–Rumple (unlikely considering how powerful he is, but possible. Not sure how it benefits Pan, but hanging him and Neal up together could result in some kind of teamwork/reconciliation.)
–Robin Hood (which leaves lots of questions about how he got there, but if he and Regina are somehow connected…)
–Roland (*sniff* No….though this seems particularly unlikely because nobody on the island save Neal has a reason to care about the kid, and if Pan DID get him, he’d turn him into a lost boy asap)

I really do not think Ariel is captive there, because I think she came to SB when the JR went through a portal. We don’t know if portals are one-way (like stargate) or two way (like doorway). I think when curse hit she was in NL somehow. We know they will show her in FTL around Snow’s time, so recent past. Then in SB where it looked like she has never seen modern world.

Hook’s brother is dead and was buried at sea in this episode.
I think for it to be the most dramatic it has to be someone who Neal knows so when they reveal who is in the box he is as shocked as the audience.
GrandpappyStiltskin is still at the top of my list but Wendy Darling is looking good too. we know that we will see her again this season, A and E said so
