I would love to! But the spoiler tags don’t work like they used to and you have to do it for each paragraph. (I hate it…with a passion). And I agree, it becomes a HUGE PAIN to try to read it that way but not much I can do about it unless somebody knows how to do that and I just didn’t find out it switched until now. Believe me I’d love to stop having to put in a gazillion little spoiler codes for each and every paragraph.

Definitely sold on the theory about Wendy being in the cage next to Neal. Also, I’m a big fan of DarlingFire, so I’m hoping that Neal reunites with Wendy.

And setting aside the fact that I’m a big time CS shipper, can I just say how much I would LOVE a DarlingFire ship!! I wanted that since the minute Bae and Wendy met!!
Pan wouldn’t put Bae up there right next to someone with whom he could likely communicate if it wasn’t going to mess with Bae for some reason. And being reintroduced to Wendy, someone Bae apparently had strong (although possibly brotherly) feelings for in the past, might just mess with the fragile thing he was starting to see again with Emma in SB.
That is a good point, that Pan would totally love to put Neal up there next to someone he knows and would talk to and mess with his head. For that reason, I’m starting to warm more to the idea that it could be Wendy. If it IS her, I think she’s not typically kept in that cage, she’s been taken from wherever she’s usually held, and has been strung up just for this special occasion.
Only thing is, the press release for 306 doesn’t list Freya, which means Neal’s not conversing with Wendy in 306, though we dunno yet how much if at all Neal’s gonna be in the ep. All we know is that Emma, Snow, Charming and Hook are gonna try to save him, which doesn’t necessarily guarantee that we’ll get to see him.

Well, there’s at least one case where a press release didn’t mention noteworthy guests, likely in an attempt to keep their appearance a surprise: “And Straight On Till Morning” with Sarah Bolger and Julian Morris as Aurora and Philip. This could be the case too.

BTW, I doubt Wendy as a prisoner would be anyone other than Freya Tingley, it’d be a “huh?” moment for the audience to see an unknown face in that cage.
PS: How is everyone using spoiler tags? I can’t find a button and my attempts to cut and past how it’s being done in other posts are failing miserably. 🙁

As to Wendy, it would make sense to have her appear at some point in the story, and with this devious PP, it also makes sense that he might use her to get some emotional pain out of Neal. Traditionally there’s an element of Wendy having an unrequited crush on PP, and being somewhat demure in the face of Hook’s gallantry, so they could also write it so that she has the obvious crush on Hook or Neal instead. I don’t think they’ve gone and cast a grown-up Wendy yet. The actress they cast is 20, and has been on set. I suppose we’ll have to see how it plays, but I feel the way they approached Joanna Garcia, the promo at CC, and that they’ve wanted Ariel since season 1 and Joanna to play her, sort of seems like if they were adding any main cast characters it would be Ariel this season. Since 301 and 306 are concurrent, who knows, it could be like the Season 2 fakeout in that we think something is in the distant past and its actually happening now. So maybe we think Belle and Ariel are wandering around SB after the point in time where Neal was captured, but it is actually before and Ariel goes to NL and gets captured (or Belle does), and we think there’s hope to rescue the others until they get put in a cage!
