I thought it would be fun to make a list of characters we know are returning from 1 or more of the previous 6 seasons for at least 1 episode in S7 and a list of those we want to or predict will return this upcoming season:
Who We Know Is Returning:
Regulars:
– Regina
– Rumple
– Hook
– Henry
– LucyGuest Stars:
– Emma
– Belle
– GideonSome of my picks/predictions
– Tiger Lily: I don’t think they would have had her in the finale talking to Lucy if we weren’t going to see her again.
– Snow and Charming: Ginny and Josh both expressed their interest in returning and I doubt A & E won’t take advantage of that.
– Zelena: A fan favorite who likely also would have stayed on the show if she was asked. I think A & E will want her to return for at least an episode.
– Will and Ana: I don’t really trust the show to give their story closure in a satisfactory way, but I still want something. It could be fun to have Will meet the new Alice and commenting on that.
– Lily and Mal: Same reason as for Will and Ana

I would divide this group into two categories: those who will return as regulars and those who will return as guest starts.
Returning Regulars: Regina, Rumple, Hook, Henry, Lucy
Returning Guest Stars: Emma, Belle, Gideon
Who would I want to return as a guest star? At the top of my list is Neal, not for shipping reasons, but for father-son reasons. Henry and Neal never got real closure, and I would love for Henry to have a vision of his dad the way Emma did of Neal. This season is focused on Henry and his hero’s journey. Who would be better to help guide Henry than his dad, who also lived and died a hero? Even if it is only for one scene of one episode, I long for Henry to communicate with Neal in heaven somehow.
Otherwise, I would like for Charming and Snow to make several guest appearances. As obsolete as their characters may have become as main characters, they were excellent secondary characters, and the show will not be the same without them. Plus, this show needs more heroes to round out all of the returning villains.

YES. I completely agree. Less likely, but even better would be for Zeus to send Neal down to help guide Henry for a whole arc. That would be awesome.
