That is a good question, but I think Bae was in still in the first. Baelfire must be older then Granny (propably dead) if he was still in ET.

I think the first war might have still been going on. Just because Rumpel wasn’t fighting doesn’t mean it stopped.
Makes you wonder why children were being drafted when there were adults in Rumple’s village that could have fought. Morraine’s father being one of them. Even if women weren’t expected to fight, why did they go for kids including girls and not the adults?
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixI’m in no way an authority on this but I’ll take a crack at it. Blue fairy, Rumple, Hook (we first see him when Bae is about 7) There may be a chance that he’s even older than Rumple. Bealfire, Jimny, Gipetto, Cora?. As for the younger characters, we know Granny is older than Red. Red/Ruby is about the same age as Snow and James/David as is, Belle. Regina is about 10-12 years older than Snow. Then we have August, Emma, and finally Henry.
Hook beeing older than Rumple could really be true. We don’t know how old he really is, when he is spending so much time in Neverland, but I think the Blue Fairy is still older.

I think it’s down to their size. The adults weren’t ‘recruited’ because they have probably had plenty of trained (or not) soldiers. Perhaps ogres live in some difficult terrain like tunnels etc were only small children could reach? Kids are not only smaller, but also more skilful.
Or, it could even be more to their other ‘properties’ – maybe ogres couldn’t smell children or something like that?
As for Hook being older than Rumple – don’t think so. If his age is mostly down to living in Neverland, he only went there AFTER Rumple killed Milah. Remember, only then he swore that he will live long enough to find a way to kill him and seems like only then he decided that he needs to find Neverland (his crew hasn’t heard of it before). So even of he stopped ageing from that very point, he was already younger than Rumple anyway.
Yeah, his crew didn’t maybe know it, but he knows and I don’t think out od nowhere. He was there before, and we don’t know how long. Maybe as a boy……

That we don’t know for sure, it’s just speculations. For all we know he might have not been there at all before, although I do support the idea he might’ve been a lost boy.
OK as long we do not know for sure. Rumple is older then Hook (because of lack of evidence)

I wouldn’t mind if Hook was older than Rumple, however i just can’t see it due to the actors, Colin is only 31 while Robert is 48, and no makeup can really cover that up. Same with Milah’s actress, she’s in her 40’s too. I think they could have used an older actor for Hook.
