We know that the scenes between Rumple, Milah and Hook took place shortly after Bae disappeared. Rumple did have the ability to take hearts back then.
I had thought that him taking the heart was proof that Rumple met Milah and Hook several YEARS after Bae left but we now know that’s not true. You would think it would take a long time to learn that trick, but Cora learned it in an afternoon in The Miller’s Daughter so maybe it’s not actually that hard.
We also know from SB that he had an ability to summon a wraith, a shadow/spirit like entity, so maybe he could do the same with another shadowy entity though he didn’t have the ability to send a physical person through.
Yes, he can but he has to have the medallion and as of right now we have no idea when he got it. I find it hard to believe he got the medallion so soon after losing Bae because, well, we have 250+ years of time to fill. He needs to be doing something during those years. I thought he was out gathering power, collecting items, learning the tricks of the trade. If he did everything with the span of 6 months, then Rumple’s intervening years don’t need to be told and I want backstory!
We also know that it took Bae about 150 years to get from the EF to turn of the century London. Rumple would have acquired a lot of knowledge and experience by then. PLUS, and this is the important thing, Rumple knew when to come and find Bae, in the real world. He could have known that Bae was in London back then as well.
Ok, so everything I said above is now completely discounted if Bae was falling for 150 years (but it only felt like an instant to him). Ouch. With the head spinning again.

So is it possible that Hook’s been hanging out in Neverland with Smee for a very long time at this point? Rather than the short gap that we keep supposing?
I do think that’s a good conclusion. For Bae it’s only been a few years since he lost his mother, but for Hook and Rumple, Milah has been dead for over 100 years. Bae was in the vortex for 100 years or more.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 7, 2013 at 9:37 pm #192032HappyEndingsSpectatorI don’t think Gold created anything to track Bae, remember both him and Regina didn’t know that Henry was Bae’s son and even Bae stated that he didn’t know about Emma’s family when he met her I think they said it was destiny was the answer I can’t remember.
But in any case that shadow should have contacted Bae way before he went to the Darlings house not 6 months latter which makes me wonder about another enitity that we aren’t aware of or they might just pass over the 6 months missing time span 😕
May 7, 2013 at 9:40 pm #192033RumplesGirlKeymasterHappyEndings does bring up a good point.
Rumple thought Bae was here in this world, not NL. And to be fair, that is where the bean sent Bae, so Rumple was right about that. And he expressed surprise that Bae new how to pilot the JR."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 7, 2013 at 9:45 pm #192035HappyEndingsSpectatorI forgot Gold had to use the Globe from Cora to even find Bae, so I don’t think there was a tracking spell created by Gold. And RG made a good point about the Jolly Roger but on that note did you see Bae didn’t dock the boat like Hook did they had to use a row boat to get to shore from Hook’s boat right ❓
May 7, 2013 at 9:47 pm #192036RumplesGirlKeymasterAnd, with the globe HappyEndings brought up, before he got that he was seen packing tons of maps of surounding states because he didn’t know where Bae was. He as just planning to go.
I don’t remember the boat thing, but maybe?
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 7, 2013 at 9:59 pm #192038HappyEndingsSpectatorWhat is weird too is why would Wendy go with something that really looks scary must people would do the opposite? Also, PP didn’t have magic to unlock windows and such but I can’t remember maybe he did.
This whole setup of going with PP is really strange to me, and again why wait till Bae was at the Darling house to come ❓
May 7, 2013 at 10:02 pm #192039RumplesGirlKeymasterWell I get the feeling that the shadow was telepathically telling Wendy/the boys how marvelous NL was and that’s what made them want to go. Before Wendy leaves with the Shadow the first time she tells Bae what NL is like, but she has yet to go there. I think the Shadow tells his “victims” what they can expect in NL: no adults, mermaids, fairies, ect., in order to entice them.

If that is true why didn’t he do this on Bae, something just doesn’t add up besides the timing issue etc.
All PP could do was fly and had to have fairy dust to do this he didn’t have any other special skills.

Bae wouldn’t have fallen for it, he doesn’t trust magic. He has seen first hand what magic does to people. He even told Wendy that magic was bad and that it comes with a price. He wanted to be in a land without magic and wouldn’t trust the shadow.
As for PP’s special skills: maybe that’s true in the original myth but in ONCE they don’t give us the original, they give us their version of it. They can do Peter Pan’s story however they want and we shouldn’t expect to get the same story as what we know.
