Yea, I agree with both of you KF and RG there were so many potholes in that episode that it really wasn’t funny and no one seemed to ask about these on twitter or many the writers just ignore them but still would have been nice to know.

We know the connection with Hook, is Bae’s mom but maybe there is something more to that does anyone know what happened to Rumples mother ❓

Wow so many things to think about!

As far as plotholes go, they fill in gaps in the story later on when they have more time to tell it. It’s (usually) a tease for something to be revealed later on rather than a plothole. Most stuff gets touched on again later.

We don’t know anything about Rumple’s mother yet, just that he is the son of a coward and was raised by “spinsters.”

Hmmm, I was just wondering if Rumbles mother left him and maybe Hook is his half brother but probably not just thinking out loud. What if Rumbles mother did the same thing to Rumbles dad and left him for another man ❓

Question: I read some where that because of Mulian, that was the reason they were poor or something like that but they didn’t say what happened ❓

So true… at least with the shadow we haven’t yet seen them use plot device blue fairy in the mix.

I agree too that some things appear to be plot holes but are really more plot threads we can expect to be explored later….but some are things they obviously will never go back to explain like the boat parking, boat finding or quick apartment location by both Hook and Gold.

I don’t think there have been any hints of a connection between Hook & Rumpel other than Milah. If you mean Mulan she lives 100’s of years after Rumpel and Bae’s times so couldn’t be the reason in anyway they were poor–his business suffered when he became known as a coward is what I thought.

TV reporters and such, have the episodes sent to them the week before. Barbara Barnett brought that up on her radio blog. If they let anything slip, you can bet your sweet bippy it will be the last interview they will get.

But what Estelle said, if it is correct, is so significant that I can’t see her letting that slip. It would blow the entire reveal if Hook is the Shadow. So I still think she is literally just telling a fan to watch the finale.

Happy Endings. The official podcasts are much too long for someone to sit and transcribe and there are no official transcripts out there. You might want to download itunes unto your computer and listen to it yourself. Lots of good information. 😀

Hopefully, it was just a prompt to watch the finale, rather than any sort of spoiler.

Here is a plausible theory I read on Tumblr about why the Shadow might only want boys.

But I have to admit that now I am wondering if the shadow is looking for Peter (it wants a boy), but can’t find him because Peter is all grown up now. Kind of like Maleficent’s minions were looking for a baby for 16 years.
