I have quickly scanned the most recent posts and I am not sure if this has been addressed so I am creating a new topic for it.

Can anyone help me out and explain why Zelena didn’t freeze when they took her back over SB town border? I don’t remember the Snow Queen’s spell completely dissipating….

I think the initial refreezing was an illusion by Zelena, to force Robin to leave in the first place. Ingrid’s magic should have been gone by then, and it WAS.

It never made sense how Ingrid’s ice magic suddenly started freezing Marian/Zelena again out of nowhere in the first place. I genuinely think that’s a sign that they were already planning on Marian to be Zelena. Zelena realized that her plan to make Robin chose her over Regina was failing, so she needed a new plan to thwart their potential for happiness together. So she pretended to start freezing again, hoping that Robin’s code would force him to leave town with her.

The way I figured it, it’s like Chernabog. Hes magical and cant exist over the town line. So when he crossed it, he disappeared, went away forever. The magic in Zelen’as heart was magic. They crossed the town line, and it went away forever. Now that they are back, the magic doesn’t affect her again because its gone.

Problem is if it works like that, shouldn’t Rump no longer be the Dark One? He crossed the town line, his connection to thhe dagger should be broken. Unless the dagger just has to remain connected to magic…Idk. *shrug* Yea, lets just go with PLOT

I think my theory that Zelena was faking the freezing spell this time around is what would make the most sense.
