I have absolutely no idea why this would be. They must have been searching for him for hundreds of years, at this point. And how do Tamara and Greg know that he’s so special or whatever? My mind’s going crazy now.

I couldn’t understand if cloaked guy was saying that the shadow was Peter Pan or if he was Peter Pan. And so they’ve been searching for hundreds of years for Henry. And how did Greg finally know that Henry was who they were looking for at the end. He met Henry right after he got out of the hospital. So he didn’t know then but he knows now?

"Because... it was born out of true love."May 13, 2013 at 2:33 pm #193780PriceofMagicParticipantI find it interesting that the older boys that took Bae from Hook’s ship were called “the Lost Ones” rather than the Lost Boys. What if the “Lost Boys” are the boys that the shadow kidnaps from the other lands?

I don’t know whether the reason Peter Pan wanted Henry will be because Henry is born of true love. If it is then it would pretty much kill any other romantic options for Emma because Neal would supposedly be her true love. I think a triangle between Hook/Emma/ Neal will occur but if Neal and Emma are supposedly true loves then it takes out all the who’s she going to choose? factor. It would end up as another David/ Kathryn/ MM triangle where we know two of the people are supposed to be together because they are true loves and the third person is just standing in the way.
All magic comes with a price!

Well to expand on that What if rumple instead had someone looking for the child of his undoing? Would explain why they had a drawing all the way back then when Bae was just a boy of Henry. And of why rumple knows peters no one you want to mess with….he knows him.

See, I would have agreed with you up until SSTtR where I believe it was established that Neal and Emma are true love and that to put Emma with Hook now would only be a shortly lived rebound. I think Hook and Emma are destined to become best friends, but where once I did see them having a romantic relationship that was real, I don’t anymore. But that’s just my opinion. I think Hook is doing all this to help out Bae because he feels very guilty having turned young Bae over to the Lost Ones. I think he cares greatly for Bae and wants to make amends. So putting him back with his one true love, father and son seems to be the way to do it.
But that’s the beauty of Once. We all see it differently."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 13, 2013 at 3:20 pm #193804DemiletoParticipant@RumplesGirl wrote:

Since them their relationship seems to be more akin to two people who understand and respect each other; it’ll take a lot of time, effort and even a bit of a leap to build them up to a point he’ll be a real rival to Neal, someone whom Emma was always shown to be emotionally affected by whatever was said and done by him.
Stories often evolve in ways you didn’t originally expected them to and plans have to be adapted as a consequence. The casting of Raphael Sbarge and Meghan Ory as regulars and the lack of payoff that came with that is a good example of this.

I do like the “host for PP’s shadow” idea, but Bae is told, “It’s your lucky day, boy, you get to live.” Which implies that the right boy will not get to live. 😕 So I think it’s more than PP needing a host, I think he needs to extract Henry’s magical life force or something, in order to make himself all powerful.

I believe you are referring to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire where Volide cam back to his true form with a potion made from flesh of a servant, bone of a father, and blood of the enemy (which was Harry).
I don’t know if it exactly parallels. My theory about Peter, the Shadow and Henry is this: (I copied this from another thread where I posted it)
If Peter can rip the shadow from you, maybe he’s using it to remain youthful forever. He is the boy who refuses to grow up after all. And maybe Henry, being a child of true love and but born into a world without magic is the perfect sacrifice. With Henry’s shadow Peter could potentially live forever without needing more boys.
It struck me last night how the Lost Ones seems almost like followers of ancient cults who are sent out to bring back what their “god” needs. They are bringing sacrifices. In the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur, 7 boys and girls are brought to Crete and placed in the Labyrinth as a sacrifice for the beast. It could be something similar where Peter needs the shadows to live until he finds that one perfect Shadow (Henry). This potentially sets up Neal and Hook, being the two members of our happy part who have had extensive dealings with Peter and the Lost Boys, to rescue the boys and Henry from Peter which is where I think S3 is headed."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
